Those who might have a hymnal laying around.
Would you look through it and find musical selections that might not agree with your theological view?
For instance:
"We've a story to tell to the nations" is a song that seems to hold to the amillennial view. Wouldn't it be a bit problematic for a pre-mil assembly to sing it?
What can you find?
Perhaps it isn't the whole song, but a phrase that you consider flawed.
For instance:
"Radiant beams from thy holy face" - Silent Night
What can you music minded folks find?
Scriptural songs

Might be one of the worst I've EVER heard, both doctrinally and quality of performance. :sleeping_2: -
While I "freely" acknowledge that there will be no more posts in this thread to rival that of Glfredrick, I'll add one more:
"The Joy we share, as we tarry there, none other has ever known." -

Ok, I know it's not in the hymnal, But what about the song "Days of Elijah"?
I have a Master's degree from Seminary, and I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT THIS SONG IS ABOUT!
To me, lyrically and musically, it sounds like a song that someone would write if they wanted to make fun of modern worship music.
Just my 2 cents.
