A White House official says Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is resigning from the Obama administration.
The move comes just a week after the close of the rocky enrollment period for President Barack Obama's health care law. Website failures marred the opening weeks of the six-month enrollment period, but the administration rebounded strongly by enrolling more than 7 million people in health insurance plans.
Sebelius' resignation could set the stage for a contentious election-year confirmation hearing for whomever Obama nominates to replace her. Sebelius has served as HHS secretary since the start of the Obama administration.

I'm pretty surprised. Hopefully she'll hit the talk show circuit and we'll get some insight, now that she's unfettered by the regime.

Apparently it is no surprise to the press core. Especially considering when Obama had is pep rally in the Rose garden (because the media refused to air it prime time, but I digress) when he thanked people for its supposed success he did not mention Sebelius at all.

I am so happy to see her go. She is another extremely wealthy person who wanted to rule the world. She can go now and summer at her estate at Leland, Michigan.
-
It is too bad that she will not be made to pay for the billions of dollars she spent on a dead horse.
-
Not surprised at all. I'm certain she was set up to fail in the first place, and the collapse of the Kansas Motor Vehicle Title and License software she purchased and supervised initial installation for, before leaving office as Kansas governor, will be the touchstone they go back to in order to "prove" her incompetence. Poor stupid Kathleen didn't realize she left Topeka to be a scapegoat.

Good riddance to bad.....(Well, you know the rest of the line.) !!!!!

I get a National Review email every morning call "The Morning Jolt" by Jim Geraghty. It's a usually-satirical look at the news, and today was no different. The headline was:
Nation Shocked to Learn Kathleen Sebelius Hadn't Resigned a While Ago, followed by the comment:
"News that is only surprising in that it took this long:" with a link to NBC's take on the story, which references in its first paragraph that she actually notified the White House of her resignation in early March, but it is just now being announced and taking effect.
Gerhaghty then says, "Man, everthing this woman does gets delayed!" -

Reminded me of this, Matthew 27:24
When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. -

Or perhaps this commentary hits closer:
Hillary Clinton's 'What difference does it make' comment.
NOTE: These are the miscreants running our country presently. Just remember, just remember. :tear: -
Says it perfectly.
