I do not need to point out the sins of the Democrats. You and others do a good job of that.
When you and others begin criticizing the Republicans all the time I will switch. And it was not the Democrats who bragged about their family values morality.

If no one is perfect in all ways why do you take such delight in highlighting the personal moral failings of some individual simply because their political affiliation happens to be Republican?
You need to remove the beam from your eye. -

You know that one family value that you seem to feel is expendable? -

What about your hypocrisy of being in favor of the murder of innocent civilians and the torture of prisoners?
You are just being silly now. Stay on topic.
I will not be back on board today, maybe for several days. I have a quick turn around book indexing job. See you when I am finished with the project. -
More misdirection.

So because some conservatives have gone astray that justifies voting for a party that believes that homosexuality, lesbianism, and transgenderism is a civil right not to mention their unabashed pro-choice stance? The Democratic party has more blood on its hands from the whole sale slaughter of millions of babies and yet we are going to be chided because some conservatives are not living up to the values they claim to uphold. Please, Crabby and Preaching, you'll have to do much better than that. All you are doing is using play ground antics to justify your un-godly support of a completely morally bankrupt party. Not saying that some of the Republicans aren't moral degenerates too, but they don't represent the majority. But, to be a democrat or to vote for one is to support their platform.

Then why don't you show that your words have meaning by starting a thread that talks about your hypocrisy in voting for the abortionist in chief - even though you are a Christian that says that they are against abortion?
You know that one family value that you seem to feel is expendable?
Targus, he won't give his view on abortion because if he did he would be banned (again). -

The official stance of the BaptistBoard is life begins at conception. Posting contrary to that position is against this particular ministry's rules.
-
-
Then again, that's the definition of conception, so nevermind.
Anyhoo, the "when life begins" position isn't the same as an abortion position. Very few people here are against abortion across the board. Most are against elective abortion. So if not holding to an official position of "against all abortion" is a prerequisite for being here, then most of us should be banned. -

I don't think you know what you are talking about. I think most of us are like me, against abortion. Period. -

My dad has been a jail minister since 1964. He has had seven kids, 4 sons who have served in the military, one son in for 28 years, so far, and he will pastor his church upon retirement. I do not know how many souls have been saved due to this, there is no way to tell. I have three sisters who have kids of their own. None of this would have happened if his mother, who died giving birth to him, had chosen to save herself.
I do not look for excuses to terminate children. I am against abortion. No caveat intended. -
So, let's split some hairs and come up some very rare exceptions to the rule to justify abortion. Way to go John!!!
