Would you vote for a politician that suppports a right to cruelty to animals if they are in line with your other political beliefs as you do for politicians that support a right to abortion?

Same question - but change to support federal funding of animal cruelty.

Yes, if there weren't any anti-animal cruelty candidates in the Democratic primary.

    See above.

    Look Targus, I changed it.

    Intesting value system...

Voting for a Demoncrat is more important than voting against animal cruelty.

Voting for a Demoncrat is more important than voting against abortion.

For you what it's all about is voting for Demoncrats first - above any other consideration.

No, I'd consider voting for a pro-life, anti-animal cruelty Socialist Party candidate instead of a Democrat who supports abortion and animal cruelty.

No you already answered "Yes, if there weren't any anti-animal cruelty candidates in the Democratic primary."

It's too late to change it now.

It's already out there in cyberspace for everyone to see. :tongue3:

I only boycott Republicans. I have no problem voting Socialist if the Democratic candidate sucks.

Only consider! I would vote for anyone else rather than vote for someone who supports abortion and animal cruelty.

You can't always get everything you want in a candidate. Back on topic- What do you think about this bill?

I don't think it is a waste of time, effort and money. As Christians, we must support justice whenever the opportunity is present. This is an honorable, just bill and is the right thing to do. If you don't stand up for justice in the 'lesser' issues, I don't think you are all that likely to take a stand for the bigger ones, IMHO.

Wow. That was faster than I thought.

Seriously, maybe we shouldn't do either.

I think we're talking about two different but similar things. There's no reason to not address one because of the other, IMO. Anyone who gets kicks from this sort of thing has a screw loose and needs some serious help. As a dwarf bunny owner, I think it's so disgusting and I would hope that something so demented WOULD be addressed by the law. It in no way diminishes my staunch pro-life stance either.

:applause: Exactly how I feel, is is narrow minded to believe our government should only address one issue and discard others.
