The subject is the speed of light.
This is what Edward L. Hamilton, PhD Univ of Colorado, post-doctoral
fellowship at Northwestern Univ. had to say on this.
Okay, tinytim. I've got it. Tomorrow at exactly 4:00 P. M. I'm going to shine a flashlight at you, and you hold out a mirror. I'll have my stopwatch ready and clock the light, then we'll be sure. That's an experiement, right?  (But you have to figure out what time that will be over there....
Our convictions need to be biblically based, otherwise they are personal opinion only. The bible is our only source of authority, not opinions of men, otherwise we'd be rcc.
Alas, they don't sell those in Japan or I could try it.
The argument is that nothing is sure outside of God's revelation. We can't take our convictions from science, psychology, etc., because they are always changing. :type:
Ah, gotcha!
Thought the thread had taken a strange turn somewhere or other!
No Dyson's in Japan?
Somehow I always have the idea that if it's new in technology then Japan has it soon after we do (if not before).
I hate that you can't experience a true vacuum.
;)
Wait a minute. I just googled it, and there is a Dyson branch in Japan. I was wr...; I was mista...; I was not entirely accurate in my assessment. I have never seen a Dyson here, but lo and behold!
I'm convinced that everyone needs a dyson!
"The Animal" is the version I have and I haven't killed it yet.
I've only had it about 4 years though.
The household record is held by a Windtunnel (Eureka?).
It lasted 7 years.
Now that we have thoroughly hijacked this thread, lets go back to the OP with a revised question:
Should all religious convictions be based on the Bible?
