Yes, yes, and yes.

Some will see these activities as being "in the world" but not "of the world."
Engaging in activities in common with the lost provides an opportunity to witness. But the age-old question of "too much fun and games" in the life of a witness may hinder presenting the idea that Christ and not the world is the center of our lives. -

1 Corinthians 9
19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more; 20 and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law; 22 to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23 Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you. -
Can they do it and still please God, if yes number 2
Can they do it and keep their testimony, if yes #3
Can they do it and not stumble or offend a fellow believer? If yes then by all means if no then no it should not be done.
I happen to know a couple of guys who were in to body building one even owned a Gym, and were able to say yes to all three but we didn't have any baby believers who it might offend or people who saw it as wrong. -
I am guessing this thread was birthed from the Miss America thread. To remain consistent, I don't think a man should be part of a body building competition. By that I mean where they stand up in speedos and flex. A weight lifting contest is different, and is similar to any other sport. Professional wrestling is the same.
As far as monster trucks, I'm not aware of any objections that anyone would have with that. -
