This is perhaps an odd question, I know. But should we strive to follow the example of George Muller?
(if you don't know who he is, Google him)
Since I was a little boy, I have heard and read many references to his life and mininistry and the great faith he exhibited. However, I have never seen anyone do what he did in practice, such as refusing to accept a salary, never articulating a need, never asking a man for help, etc.
I'm not arguing that he wasn't a godly man. I'm wondering, though, why we hold him up as a man of great faith if we wouldn't agree with his methods and practices.
What say you?
Should we emulate George Muller?
