I don't, but I am not willing to give the accuser(s) of a possibly innocent individual the benefit of the doubt.

Defending ones self is not a legitimate response of an innocent individual?

The use of four of mine gives me the impression that, in your mind, this has devolved from an honest debate into a contest. A contest doesn't interest me, so I'll bow out. Good day to you.

No biggie. I have thick skin. (Wifey'd say a thick head!)

So you would rather assume 5 people are guilty to protect Cain.

This is not a contest, but what I see is that everyone here who never has met Cain is giving him more respect than five other people. I think if Cain was just a former CEO, people would not be as polite to him.

He hasn't? He attacked one of the lady's early on. Then he said they people attacking him were racists. In fact, he went on an attack immediately against everyone. It was his attacks that turned me quickly against him. Even if he is innocent, I do not want him in the office. We don't need a Republican version of Clinton, even if he is innocent of sexual harassment.

Can you please provide quotes demonstrating these attacks?

Oh, yes, I just recalled that I was sexually harassed by a female hotel clerk in Georgia once, she called me 'honey'.

I doubt it makes any difference to some.

Now I'm really bowing out of this thread.

Fourth woman to come forward today at press conference at 1:30 eastern time. She's going public with her allegations. Her counsel is powerhouse attorney Gloria Allred, who counseled one of the women that was involved with the Anthony Weiner Twitter scandal.

I think Cain's campaign is going to be seriously wounded, if not dead.

It depends on what she "alleges" and if she has proof. Gloria is a news hog.

Just watched the news conference. The allegations are explosive and the witness is credible. Plus there are signed sworn statements from two people that the witness had told her story of Cain's harassment back in 1997.

Of course, Cain is denying the allegations.

    Cain's candidacy is toast.

Do share the details- I am unable to access the video.

So what does she allege? What does she say he did?

Better still... what can she prove?

    Allegations are nothing without proof.

Her story- at least what I have been able to glean of it so far- matched to the background facts- do not give me confidence that she is telling the truth. And Gloria Allred has never passed up a chance to castigate a man.

She met Cain at a couple of NRA functions in 1997, even sat next to him at one dinner (along with her boyfriend) and went to a private party for NRA workers where she conversed with Cain. Shortly thereafter she got laid off from her job at NRA and her boyfriend suggested that she contact Cain and see if he could help her get a job. Cain agreed to meet with her in Washington DC. When she got to her hotel she discovered her hotel room at been upgraded to a luxurious suite, courtesy of Cain. She met Cain at the hotel bar and then Cain suggested dinner. After dinner he drove her to NRA headquarters, parked the car and put his hand on her thigh (she was wearing a skirt). He started moving his hand up her leg and then reached out with his other hand and tried to move her head toward his lap. She objected, said no, said she wasn't going to do anything, whereupon his response was, "Well, you do want a job, don't you?" She said she wanted to be brought back to the hotel and Cain brought her back.

About a month ago, she met him at a fundraiser in Chicago and Cain remembered her. She described him as looking nervous and didn't want to talk with her.

She has a sworn statement from her former boyfriend from 1997 that corroborates her story as well as a sworn statement from a co-worker at NRA in 1997 whom she also told her story to at the time.

Well, there ain't no stained dress, if that's what you mean!

But you now have four women, two men, and sworn statements by two other people all alleging the same thing.

If true then Mr. cain is a fool for trying to run for President, but Bill Clinton ran with a closet full, I find it strange Now all of a sudden she has sworn statements, but back then she never raised any mention of all this?

Oh, I didn't know the boyfriend was with them when Cain supposedly put his hand on her thigh?
