On Facebook today, someone mentioned that we should show our drivers license - even if we don't have to.
I said I would -

I already do, but I was thinking of trying to vote without a picture ID this year just to see how hard it is.

I am all for showing an ID. For those who cannot drive, the state will issue a general ID. This protects everyone's right to vote, and the integrity of the vote as defined by the Constitution of the US and the various states, plus law. This should not be a political issue, but like everything else, it is.

In our polling place the volunteers know almost everyone by name when you walk in so having identification is never a problem.
-
I favor voter ID's and ballots only in English!

Salty it is certainly possible that someone would come in they did not recognize. But odds are they saw the unfamiliar name on the registered voter list before that and asked each other "who is that?"

Right now we have the freedom to vote without showing an I.D. Why would I want to give up that freedom?
-
I've never voted without being asked for my license or having my social checked against the registry to make sure I was eligible to vote. At one point, I was even told I didn't have the right to vote on anything but the Presidential election because I'd not been a resident of the state I moved to for long enough.
If they didn't ask, I wouldn't show it.
Are you people actually going and voting without giving any info apart from a name?! Seriously? Isn't that just begging for fraud to happen in voting? I didn't know that happened. -

Election after election, Minnesota has the highest voter turn out rate in the nation. -

Here in Wisconsin, voter ID was made law; that is, it was made law until the liberal activist judiciary in Madison got involved. Presently, it is still tied up in the courts. The Left is fighting it tooth and nail.

If the Libs say its too hard to get photo ID - then why don't they (the bleeding heart libs) take these poor folks to DMV (and the courthouse - if they need a birth certificate) and pay for all expenses - since the poor folks need all their money to buy cancer sticks, booze and high fashion clothes?
Problem solved. See how simple it is.
Oh, I forgot - Libs like to do things the hard way -

No voter identification needed- just a voter card with no picture on it, only a signature. Anyone could have used my voter card.
