Did Jehovah part the Red Sea, allowing the Israelites cross on dry land followed by the pursuing Egyptian Army chariots which Jehovah caused the wheels to fall off and the waters to return to their full depth who then drowned and thus handing a mob of former slaves a complete military victory over the most powerful army in the world at that time without any actual combat?

Exodus 14:13a - And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today."

    God is sovereign...all the time.

Is there a particular reason for the question?

    Yes, He did.

Did you also notice that He parted the Red Sea,
allowed His people to cross it,
and then collapsed the sea back in again and killed every last Egyptian soldier and charioteer that was following them, completely destroying Pharoah's army in the process...

Without once deciding to have mercy on the Egyptian army by warning Pharoah what would happen if they pursued His people?

    Exodus 14.

I am reminded of the story about a kid who was reading the Bible and got to the story of God parting the Red Sea. He went up to his teacher and said, "Wow, what a miraculous story. God parted the Red Sea and all the Israelites crossed over and were saved from the Egytians."
The teacher said "They went through the Sea of Reeds and the water was only 6 inches deep."
The student went away feeling a bit foolish, but soon came back to the teacher with a huge grin on his face.
The teacher asked why he was so excited. The student said, "Well teacher, that miracle is truly amazing! I just read how God caused the Egyptian army to drown in 6 inches of water!!!

I find it fascinating that some here take the words of Exodus seriously but not the words in Genesis.

    Just an observation gentlemen.

Was that the reason or part of the for the OP#1? And why?
