"Codex Gigas, also known as the Devil's Bible - a medieval manuscript said to have been written 800 years ago with the devil's help - has returned to Prague after an absence of 359 years.
"According to a myth, a Benedictine monk promise to write the book overnight to atone for his sins. When he realised the task was impossible, he asked the devil for help.
Only 60 people an hour can enter an air-conditioned room in the a National Library fo a 10-minutes look at the manuscript, which is inside a specially designed, unbreakable case."
Has anyone ever heard of this Bible?

Isa 14:13 (KJV) For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. -
Uh, it is called 'Devil's Bible' because it has a picture of
a devil up close to the frount. It isn't a Bible written
by a devil. It is called 'Big Bible' cause it has half a dozen
Christian documents - none of which was written by
or for any devil. -
-
Interestingly, it was in the LA Times. How demonic, I thought!

Wickipedia article is at:

It includes the devil picture on page 290.
Today's Trivia question:
Does the Adulterer's Bible say which of these?
1. Thou shalt commit adultry.
2. Thou shalt not admit adultry.
Here is the picture of the devil:

Pretty sure I could not even carry around a 165# Bible, and would have done well just to lift it, in my best day.
Not to mention those poor animals (160 of 'em?) who had to be slaughtered just to get hides to make the vellum for it. While interesting, I think I'd pass on this one.
Now that thar' Adulterer's Bible, on the other hand - that might be some interesting reading - and considering how many instances of divorce, remarriages, infidelity, "shacking up", etc., that one can sadly observe on a daily basis, at least in my neck o' the woods, leads me to think that a lot of folks have taken this particular reading as their "standard of faith and practi..."

Do I get the prize for the right answer?
"Adultry" (sic) is mispelled in your question, as the word is spelled "adultery", so I suspect that word, as spelled, is not found in the "Adulterer's Bible", or "Adultery Bible", as the particular printing is alternatively known, at all. This covers my response of "neither".
The Bible got the nickname for the printing error of the publisher, Barker and Lucas, in a 1631 printing of a KJV edition, for leaving out the word "not" in the 7th Commandment in Exodus 20:14, hence causing that verse to read as "Thou shalt commit adultery!" This little gaffe caused the publishers to be fined in the sum of £300, which according to 'wiki' amounted to a lifetime's wages for an average person, in that day.
However the words "Thou shalt not commit adultery" are found three other times in the NT, along with the words "Do not commit adultery", which wording is found three times as well, in Scripture (KJV), so both sentences are found in the Adulterer's Bible, at the same time. This covers my response of "both".
Now, do I get my prize?? :applause:

my second answer was:
2. Thou shalt not admit adultery.
not : Thou shall not comit adultery.
And thank your "Dr. Grammer" for the spelling assistance
(this Ed needs all the help he can get)

1ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and DOCTRINES of DEVILs; So the devil does have his bible out there.
