The only statement I tried to get everyone to understand was this... You need to read your Baptist History since you all are baptist. The Word of God has been preserved by his chosen people down through the ages. I left you a list on the other threads to some of the names they went by. Do I believe that the KJV is the inspired Word of God? Without reservation! Your other translations are yours and I won't even discuss them. I told you my position and you know where I stand! The only reason I answered this is because KEVO was searching and I'm sure now he has found the answer to his question!... Brother Glen

Here are words from John Gill that great expositor of the Holy Bible so you may be brought to a better understanding:
Luke 2:48 And when they saw him they were amazed,.... That is, when Joseph and Mary saw him amidst the doctors, they were astonished that he was admitted among them, and had in such esteem by them:
and his mother said unto him; she being his own, and only parent, and not Joseph; and therefore he said nothing, but left it to her; who upon sight of him, at least as soon as she had a proper opportunity after he had left the doctors, began to chide, or rather to expostulate with him after this manner:
son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? which was said with great tenderness of affection, and in much mildness; and may be a pattern to parents, who should not provoke their children to anger, but deal gently and tenderly with them:
behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing; with great grief, anxiety, and solicitude, fearing lest some evil had befallen him. Mary calls Joseph his father, though she knew he was not, in a proper sense; but because he was supposed to be so, and was his father by the law of marriage; and especially, she might call him so because of his paternal care of him in his education, and bringing him up: for it is a maxim with the Jews {e}, that
"not he that begets, but he that brings up, is the father.''
{e} Shemot Rabba, sect. 46. fol. 143. 1.

I went to the website you showed me.I really didn't stay on there long though. There is just something about a website that is sponsered by "play poker with real money on pokerroom.com now"that I dont like.I am against gambling as the bible is also.Try this site www.kjv1611.org/contents.htm
Every one of you bible correctors need to read Doctor Peter S.Ruckman's commentaries. And I don't believe this site will use gambling to sponser it! -
KEVO

You don't see very well. I do have a final authority. It is the Word of God and it is found in many faithful translations. I think a good case can be made that if you believed the KJV the way you say you do, you would reject the unbiblical doctrine of inspiration that you have espoused. The biblical doctrine of inspiration is incompatible with the position you are espousing.
Another word of advice. Please use spaces in between sentences. It will help others to read your posts. -

[Name calling edited] Tell me this, when I hold that kjv1611 in my hand I know I am holding the word of God in my hand,If you don't believe that it is the word of God,where is it!!
Why, oh why, oh why do KJV-onlyists like Kevo continue to bear false witness against other Christians by falsely accusing them of denying the KJV is the Word of God?
I would love to discuss the alleged doctrinal issues involved in the Bible translation debate with Kevo, but when he slanders fellow Bible believers like this on the one hand and declares the Word of God to be "satanic" on the other, he shows that he does not know what his opponents believe and has paid no attention to any of the debate that has gone before.

Joshua -
This would be addressed to everyone on this issue.
I do believe the KJV is the infallible word of God.(Hebrews 11:1)God has called me the preach the gospel (1 Cor.15:1-4).I would not dare preach with any other version, for a man must have a solid foundation on which to stand.I was saved on March 30,1997 so I am not as smart as some of you are.My point is why not just believe the book and not try to correct it.Pastor Larry, you of all people need to be more worried about lost souls dying and going to hell than being a bible corrector.I love to go out on the streets and preach holding that old KJV in my hand.Luke 14:23.Yet ,in fulfillment of Bible prophecy, most end-day professors of christianity will not endure sound doctrine(2Tim.4:3).Kevo,I don't know you but I appreciate your stand. Please people get out of this carnal state and win souls for our Lord and Saviour!Till Jesus comes KJV will stand. -
Pastor Larry,You worry about the way I type to much.I believe if you look real close you can understand it.

-
Hey,Timothy, boy ya''ll were to smart for that one. :D Just making sure the scholars were paying attention ;)

< need to read Doctor Peter S.Ruckman's commentaries. And I don't believe this site will use gambling to sponser it! >
Gambling would be preferable to a septic tank like Ruckman's site. -
Why is KJVTIM's and KEVO's typing and grammar nearly identical??
-
Hey Chris,KJVTIM is my blood brother.I'am telling you the truth. We are not the same person.I busted out laughing when I read that :D
