I heard the story of Buddhist monks having to walk through three gates before being allowed to speak. At the first gate, they were asked, "Is it true?" If so, they were allowed to move to the next gate, where they were asked, "Is it kind?". Again if so, they moved on. At the third gate, they were asked, "Is it necessary?"
Seems to me that would cut down on a lot of the chatter we see here. :D
Good thing I'm not Buddhist. I'd be the monk climbing over the gates so I wouldn't have to answer the questions, then I could say what I wanted by the time I climbed over the third one.
he was/is the Same, he is God the Son incarnated as a man, who died as a substitute on behalf of sinnners, in order to pay in full the debt owed to God the Father!
