In an unusual devotion of time for an American president, Barack Obama is blocking out nearly an entire afternoon to promote the importance of being a good dad as a national priority.
1. I applaud his creating a national focus an Fathers and their need for responsibility
2. I applaud that he is not trying to accomplish this by passing another unconstitutional law

Thanks for posting this Rev... I admire his focus on family since he came on the political scene and believe he, as opposed to Clinton, sets a great example for the nation. I pray he continues on this path and that others emulate the good he is doing.
I also liked that Bush and Cheney both loved their children through the good and bad. We too often loose hope and turn our children over to a reprobate mind. I believe if we raised them right, there is a good root inside so that if we can prune enough of the bad away the tree will again be good. -

Just as a matter of record and acknowledgment. If you will notice the date of this thread.
-
... and why are you bumping it back to the top of the heap, Rev? Is there something significant that I'm missing?

I saw the title and my first thought was, "Thank God, he is abdicating!" Not only are my hopes dashed to pieces, but I find that I was duped by a necropost to boot. ;)

One of his ideas at being a good dad is providing the abortion option for his daughter(s) if she makes a mistake and doesn't want to be "punished" for that mistake, by giving birth.

I used the word correctly as I find some on this board completely intolerant of others creeds, beliefs and opinions. This has nothing to do with race.
Please reply by starting another thread and not derailing this one. -
As far as this kumbaya nonsense between the Obama and Bush fans, there is a lot of truth in that. They are basically both from the same stripe, anything but the Constitution. What do I like about Obama? Not one thing.
Am I a bigot against the trash that has infected both parties? You bet and proudly.
We now return you to the Bush-Obama love fest. -

Also I am not sure why you insist on using bold text the way you do but it is not appropriate, unnecessary, and comes off as yelling. -

I saw no reason for showing your ignorance of the word publicly.
I am not sure you understand the meaning of arrogant or arrogance. But it is a way to attempt to insult someone and you are quite proficient at that my friend. You are very quick to call others liars, libbies without following up with facts. You are the master of the one-line insult and snide remark.
I have not said that all people who oppose Obama are racist. I have said that some are and I stand by that. I have a few high school classmates who admit to that fact.
I rarely use bold type. Comic Sans shows up darker than other fonts and is, for me easier to read. Comic Sans bold looks like this this is bold, this is not.
It was not a wild use of the word bigot as shown in the earlier post. Too bad you and Bro did not understand the primary meaning of the term. I cannot be held responsible for your ignorance of the meaning of words, not for your misinterpretation of posts.
If you want to continue this moaning, please start another thread and let this one go back to the subject the OP began with. Remember I asked you in a private message and at least twice in a public thread to start a thread on this topic. For some reason, known only to you, you did not do so.
Cheers Rev. -

But, let's get back to the original topic. OK? -
So it is an insult to say that another is "arrogant" but not an insult to say they are "showing ignorance" or that someone is a "bigot"?
As to being off topic... you only like to take threads off topic if they are not flattering to "the one".
And you lost your moral authority long ago where it comes to asking others to stay on topic. You would do well to demonstrate some restraint in that area for a while first before making such a request of others. -
