Are you sure about this? According to a warning they provide, they are monitoring what they consider to be the far-right population. It sounds like they are characterizing all of this population as spewing hate speech, and no one else. And if you think they don't consider all of what they monitor to be hate speech, you might want to reconsider. Some are quite clever at twisting whatever is said to mean something else. This observation is not limited to the SPLC, but they may be particularly good at it, and quite malicious, that is, full of hate.What a misleading characterization.
You may disagree with whom SPLC classes as hate groups, but this daily chart merely records the top trending hashtags of their Twitter accounts.
