    We will see where this goes. I have been somewhat skeptical of the Space Force being a stand-alone service. I thought it was best served a separate command in the Air Force. However, if they start transferring service members from other branches it may be best to be a separate branch. However, it really is not completely separate. It still falls under the auspices of the Air Force just the like the Marines do with the Navy.

    I'd say it depends on how it is used.

    Perhaps we should have just brought back SAC and gave them the space assets. The fighter mafia hasn't done the Air Force much good in the last few decades.

    (I'm an equal opportunity complainer, though, so we can talk about how the Army's infatuation with all things SOCOM has been detrimental if you'd like. :Biggrin )
