Perhaps I've missed it, but I haven't seen anything posted about the bombing of three churches in Sri Lanka on Easter. Is there a particular reason this atrocity hasn't been mentioned?

Interesting. Did I miss a post on the topic? It would be easy to point it out.

It would also be easy to just post something about it yourself

Murdering Christians is not unusual news.

But it is today on Easter Sunday. It shows the cowardice of those who are murderers of not just soldiers but women and children.

I was surprised too. But then again I didn't post anything myself. Death toll now 290. I guess the usual suspects here aren't terribly interested if it's not clear that it's Muslims doing the killing. No group has yet claimed responsibility

We had an interest in Sri Lanka in the Trinco area.
The dominant Buddhists persecute Christians, Muslims and Hindus.
    My suspicion is Buddhist involvement.

Christians in Sri Lanka have experienced certain levels of persecution for many years, particularly evangelical ones which have been growing recently.
Sri Lanka – number 46 on the 2019 World Watch List
However, this is something altogether different and was clearly done to cause maximum impact and terror, being made against larger, mostly Roman Catholic, churches. It bears all the hallmarks of being a Moslem outrage. Although Islam is not particularly strong in Sri Lanka, there have been attacks against Buddhist idols, so assaults upon Roman Catholic shrines would be a continuation of that.

Also, Buddhist or Hindus would not be likely to strike at the holiday industry from where Sri Lanka earns much of its income.

But we shall see. We need to be praying for the injured and bereaved, and also that such an enormous outrage would turn people away from Islam and towards Christ.

In the UK there was coverage of it on Easter Morning, and today.

As far as I know there no group has claimed responsibility and are unsure who did it.

There was never any doubt that it was radical islamists that were behind the attack. Just had to wait for the proof to come in.

Sri Lanka Attacks Live Updates: Terrorist Group Is Identified, and Death Toll Rises

The government on Monday blamed a little-known radical Islamist group for the devastating Easter Sunday suicide bombings that killed nearly 300 people. Officials said the group, which had not carried out any serious attacks before, had received help from an international terrorist organization.

Obama didn't call them Christians.. He called them "Easter worshipers", as if they were worshiping Easter.

Peat and Re-Peat talk the same language. Hillary echoed Obama and called them "Easter worshipers".

"Worshippers at Easter" or "Worshippers on Easter Sunday " is surely how to read that

It is more concise to write "Easter worshippers." Twitter rewards conciseness.
