I disagree. They've played some very worthy opponents and played them very well, too, I might add.

Like I said before:
WHOO HOO!!!
Even the Governor and Bill Cosby came out to watch! What a game! Nelson will have no problems finding a job when he graduates. -
St. Joe's was impressive in their win last night. I still don't think they will win it all, but they have done a lot better than I thought they would. The game Saturday against Oklahoma State should be a great one. It is the only bracket in which both the #1 and #2 seeds survived to the regional final.

I admit it will be tough. But to have come this far is amazing in itself. Just think of all of the exposure and scholarship money that has already come their way. Smaller schools really need that. Great boost for the area. Now if LaSalle could learn how to play....

I think OSU will blow St. Joe's out of the water. OSU felt snubbed and will be looking to point out the fact that they should have been a #1 seed.

Have to hand it to St. Joe's. I'm on record as saying that they and Stanford were untested and way over-rated. Stanford proved me right, but St. Joe's has proven themselves worthy of a high ranking. Can they beat OSU? Remains to be seen. Meanwhile, Dick Vitale's ACC isn't looking so great. The all ACC final four some were expecting has proved to be ridiculous.

Eladar,
You said a mouthful.
Anybody else taking OSU seriously?
Remember, "Big Country" Reeves is still lurking in the shadows! -
I am taking OSU seriosly. I have them in the final game getting beat by Duke. They are a solid, complete team that plays good on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. Being a Sooner fan, that is about all I am willing to say about them other than I like Eddie Sutton and wouldn't mind seeing him do well (I just wish it was with some other team ).

What a great ride it was.
They put such an energy into this city, I thought it was 1985 again. -
Look for St. Joes to be right back in the thick of it all next year.
My hat is off to the coaching staff and team there. They played an excellent season, deserved their #1 ranking and should keep their chins up. -
Oklahoma State University ?

St. Joe's earned a lot of respect in the tournament this year even if they fell just short of the Final Four. I admit to being one of the people saying they wouldn't make it past the 2nd round, but they proved they deserved to be seeded where they were. Kentucky and Stanford ended up being the teams the didn't deserve their high seeds. I also doubted Nelson's abilities, but after watching him a couple games I can see why he gets such high praise.
The way Xavier played in the tournament also showed that they had beed underestimated before the tournament. If they hadn't won their conference tournament, they would have likely been left out of the Big Dance and not had the chance to pull off those big upsets. -
And I don't think Nelson and West are going to have a hard time finding a job.
