Now that we are no longer a nation of the people, by the people, and for the people, but have become a Marxist nation, although in its infancy that is growing up fast, we will see more and more eroding of our freedoms and rights until we are totally under a military rule.

Perhaps you are correct, but I think we will travel under the neo-socialist umbrella for several years before that happens.

Also, the military will probably not be necessary.

You are assuming that "we the sheeple" are unhappy with the current situation of cradle to grave coddling by the government.

You and I and a few others (mostly senior citizens) remember the "good ol' days" but for the most part the newer generations (boomers, post-boomers of the population centers who elect the POTUS) are perfectly content to nap with the government binkie stuck in their collective face.

As a law-abiding citizen who has no fear of the police, I am only concerned about losing all rights and our freedom.

This issue is a great distraction. Living in SE Texas I did not bother to read te feed as I am aware of the plans to purchase the preditors to be usede by the various levels of the government. Since we are still engaged in the
fool's fight to rid ourselves of the proven Life Saving Red Light Cameras and the testing of the speeding cameras, I am, in no manor, surprised at this stupid extension being used to dumb down the population.

Let's consider the various Traffric Control uses of cameras. I first encountered these in Germany in the sixties, while on duty there. First, like in Texas, the ticket was about but less than half the cost to mail in the payment and doingt so kept it off one's Criminal Refcord. It was established in Germany and confirmed here in Texas that the death and injury rate, seriously, declined. The police that are required to man those intersections were not busy filling their quotas but were released to protect the people they are commissioned to protect... imagine that!

It is wirthy to note that only people that run the lights, and not everyone of them, got the tickets. As my life has progressed over the past six plus decades the enforcement techniques have steadily progressed and they need to continue, for without law we have the survival of the frittest.

The Preditor, the logical evolution of R/C Airplanes. One man can fly the Remote with never being shot at and at just oe hundred miles an hour can easily cover three or four times the area of a two man Squad Car. Not only that e never needs to park and write tickets, he just triggers the camera, the feed picks and reads the data, writes and mails the ticket, leaving the bulk to protect the people.

Uuuuumm, that grey headed old freak said distraction! Less concern about Abortion, less attention paid to anything else the man in the Oval Office does and much less time to spend tracking the Lawyers that we the fools keep electng. Yep, we the sheeple sounds about right.

Well, now some of the Congress people who voted for the 30,000 drones in American skies are a tad concerned, it seems, now that it has been discovered they can be hacked. One admitted that he didn't really know much about the bill before he voted "aye." The bill was just passed this past February, and already there are concerns. There are ALWAYS unintended consequences but these people up on the Hill are too concerned about pleasing the lobbyists, attending social events, going on vacation, and playing politics and smoozing to ever think about the UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES of their votes.

So if a college whiz kid can intervene and take over the controls from 1/2 mile away, what does anyone think a terrorist might do? They are so stupid up there on the Hill I think it is on purpose. Nobody could be born that dumb and have the wherewithall to run for office and win, could they?

More power and control over the sheeple.....again. And yes, Republicans and Democrats alike voted for this travesty.

Well, what's the problem with that?

He took the former Speaker-of-the-House's advice and voted for it so he could see what was in it.

That's not entirely true. Sure, one man is the Pilot. But he's only one person of a several person crew. The predator is the size of a small plane, and has all the same expenses, such as mainainence and fuel. I personally don't think that they are a cheaper alternatice to squad cars, or will free up other people.

LE, this isn't as big of an issue as it might seem. Encryption makes it harder to hack. Most of the time when these units are flown, they are not loaded with crypto. But, if there is a threat to hacking (as it appears there is, now), then they are simply loaded with crypto.

There is some truth to that - but on the other hand rear end collisions have risen.

Not entirely true - the registered owner of the vehicle gets the ticket. Problem is if the driver is not the registered owner.

and there are other poblems - just google "problems with red light cameras" here is one example

So, why do we need drones to spy on us again?

No more probable cause. No more habeas corpus. No more due process. No more right to life (if you are deemed a "threat"). Almost daily violations of Posse Comitatus. Police trained in military tactics and very heavily armed with some really creepy weapons. See for yourself.

Hmmm, looks to me like they're fixin to use drones to pick out their targets.

You and me. But then I'm just paranoid.

Is it just me or is this country starting to feel more like a prison than a free society?

On the bright side though the corporate prison system business is booming!

There's another example of how corporations run the country Sapper.

It is called a police/military state. We are well into it and growing swiftly because of a shredded constitution.

Yeah I know what's it's called and how it came about but people don't care yet. They will. The bottom is about to drop out of the dollar or what's left of it and then we'll see the police state in all it's glory.

Here's a little sample . . .CLICK HERE.

Part one. Police shoot and kill a man for running.

Part two. Police shoot rubber bullets into crowd gathered to protest the dead man's demise. Women, children, babies, don't matter light em all up!
