“We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart. . . . Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. We’re proud of Bristol’s decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of love and adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional support.”
Obama on his brother's poverty:
Absolutely nothing. Obama’s supporters, in attempting to cover for Obama, have basically accused the young half-brother of trying to benefit from Obama’s success. They say Obama doesn’t owe his sibling a thing. In other words, the Obama camp has a message for George Obama: “Pull yourself up by your bootstraps, even if you don’t have boots. You’re on your own.”
Here is an excellent article by D'Sousa comparing Palin's rsponse to her daughter's pregnancy and Obama's response to his brother's poverty in Kenya.
Heres a comparison, Palin's daughter is not having an abortion, Palin has not told her to have an abortion. Palin values human life, especially her children, and grandchild.
Obama on the other hand, as we have seen, does not value human life. If this were his daughter he would counsel her to have an abortion, murdering her own child, and his grandchild.
Now thats a real comparision. The value of human life, of little children, of babies.
Now who has an opinion that more closely represents God's as stated in scripture.
Honest question here - did he say that about his girls specifically or women in general. I may very well have missed it, but have not see where he specified his girls (with a source).
So if you had a brother living in squalor you would do nothing? It kind of makes me wonder what you would do about a total stranger's misfortune if you would turn your back on your own flesh and blood.
My brother was murdered a couple of months ago and I would have taken the bullet to save his life.
Most caring people would help thier siblings if they were in need. Being a millionaire and not wanting to help even his own brother, telling him to help his self, does not sound good for anyone but the rich in this country.
I have seen several Donna, but they all seem to be someone saying what he said. Do you have a source telling where and when he said it? With his view of the unborn, I don't doubt it - but would love to have the details.
What troubles me the most is Obama's statement, "I would not want them punished with a baby."
Forgetting for a moment the total disregard for that baby as a human being Obama looks at that child as a punishment. My children were not a punishment but a blessing.
