I have decided to go to Taylor University because they are accredited and have a real library for research. They offer distance education that is affordable. If any one has any feedback that is positive about Taylor University I would greatly appreciate it.
No 'feedback' per se, but a positive word, anyway.
A longtime close friend of mine, 'Bud' Hamilton, is the Athletic Director, campus pastor, and men's basketball coach at Taylor University, Ft. Wayne, and was named USCAA Division II Coach of the year for 2006.
Congratulations, Bud!
I have no specific positive "feedback", but also don't have any negative, either.
I've known some Taylor grads, and some who may or may not have grduated from Taylor, but were one-time students, there, including the above mentioned 'Bud" Hamilton, who is my closest friend among those who are Taylor Alumni, over the years.
All are or were very fine individuals.
Don't take that the wrong way for 'Hack', who was one of my teachers at Bible College, has now already gone home to be with the Lord.
That does not speak to the "Academics", per se, and I cannot particularly attest to that.
But I can attest to the 'charachter' of the individuals I know and knew and that part is very positive.
Hope this helps, in some small way.
I believe Taylor is the official school of the North American General Conference Baptists.
I took a course in Hermeneutics from there last winter. It was an interesting course, well tutored and academic, yet geared to understanding. I wouldn't hesitate considering that school.
