This is a test and only a test in an actual emergency you would have been informed of where to turn for additional information.
-
Here's yer test pattern...
-
Here's the test pattern I remember:
The Indian Head test pattern.
http://www.videouniversity.com/tvtestpa.htm
Guess that shows my age a little. eh?
{How do you guys get those pics to post??} -
Surround with image tags that are IMG enclosed in square brackets to start, and /IMG in the brackets to end, with the URL in the middle.
-
Speaking of old, who else here remembers the predecessor to the now defunct Emergency Broadcast System....the old Conelrad system for civil defense.
Tune to 640 or 1240 in a time of emergency. Radios even had the civil defense logo on their dials at those frequencies. -
Wow...I've stumbled into the "geezer thread!"
:D -
Thanks, Magnetic Poles
Now, how do I isolate the image URL from the rest of the page? -
Right Click on the image and select "Copy Image Location" The test pattern location was http://www.videouniversity.com/indian_h.jpg, so this is what I put inside the image tags.
Magnetic Geezer -
You know, I don't think the mods can have a problem with a thread being off-topic when it was never ON a topic... :D

Ahhhhhhh memories.... -
-
So you're a Young Geezer!?!? :D ;)
-
Or at least a not-so-old Geezer!
(Hi Sis. How's it goin'?) -
