I have been in the court room on many occasions and watched our chief Superior Court judge holler, scream, rant, rave and flat cuss out DEFACS for taking kids without proper legal cause. He once told me in Chambers that they were the dumbest bunch of f..... Bastards he had ever seen in his life. I agree with him.

In a similar sick case British Columbia courts said that a father could not stop his 14 year old daughter from receiving male hormone shots from some Mengelian pervert doctor who experiments on children in Canada. LGBTUVWXYZ wonders why no one likes them.

First, allow me to correct the article. This has nothing to do about homeschooling. The most common routes to referral by CPS for homeschooling in Texas are

    1. Police (Stupid war on drugs.)
    2. Doctor

There is no oversight for homeschooling in Texas. So this is about a medical doctor or nurse referring to CPS. There were likely multiple doctors/nurses doing the referring. This “abduction” is the result of the “war of drugs” everyone seems to support here.

Next, Texas is not Georgia. Seems obvious to me, but stop comparing the two.

This is the United States. We always compare the left vs conservative states. Oddly enough, tx lands leftist on this one.
Just because a doctor says something, does not make it fact.

I suspect this will eventually be adjudicated in favor of the Pardos, but it never should have come to this.

You are correct, in that the seizure was not due to homeschooling. The title of the article skews that a bit, and may be sensational in that sense. Often article titles are something of "click bait." But if you read the article itself, you will see what connection that article makes to homeschooling and that it does not say the kid was seized because he was homeschooled. What is happening, though, is that the Texas Homeschool Coalition is involved in trying to help them because the Pardos are homeschoolers. "The group has worked to defend the rights of homeschool families – and now parental rights – in Texas since 1986."
Since I live in Texas, I think I know that.
