Oh Q, no don’t demean my K-Bar... it’s not a trenching device... nor is it a rifle. But it is sharp and can be used to shave if there is nothing else to do the job. You don’t have respect for it apparently, equating it to a tooth pick... so would you prefer a stab wound from a toothpick or the K-bar... which instrument would be the most effective, maybe you shouldn’t try it out, I’m positive you’d hurt yourself and we wouldn’t want that
being Christians and all.
Has anyone considered that it was the State's role (their National Guard) who should have acquired housing?
If the State has the authority to recall their troops then they were there under the State's authority.
How many of us have been in similar situations?
A lot.
Who was responsible?
Our own operations. Facilities around have been planned out and approved by the State prior to the State sending their troops.
These guys were not federalized (they were not called up by the President), they were sent by the State
Yep.
I also checked (it would be odd for the President to call up the National Guard in that capacity).
They were Title 32 (sent by the state, requested by NGB, but not called up by the President).
So it was/ is up to the Governors of the states when to call them back.
I have been wondering why they are still there.
I suppose funding is involved.
But I do not see that they were needed in the first place, so I do not see how they are needed there now.
So they were requested by the Secret Service, the Capitol Police and the Park Service.
The Capitol Police seem to be a Dem thing so that is probably the source.
They are still not releasing the name of the ladykiller in their ranks.
