I'm working through some difficutlies in Isaiah regarding textual criticism and came across a site that has critically examined the works of JRR Tolkien.
Although it's humorous I thought it was best posted here.

Numerous commentaries accept the late date for the completion of Isaiah. They subccribe to multiple authors (or redactors) of the prophecy usually until about 400 BC (probably to include the name of Cyrus as a late addition).
What are some commentaries you have worked with that discuss this point (in some detail) and still set the date around 700 BC.

Deacon,
The 3 volume commentary by Edward Young (formerly WTS) is quite good and I think does assume a unified early - written Isaiah.
It is rather technical and does cite Hebrew words.
I think Oswalt's volume is similar although I do not own it and cannot say for sure.
