Benefits applied before we believe !

Benefits those have applied to them whom Christ died for, are many and wonderful, and ensure the application of even more. Of course the antichrist religious world shall attempt to deny them by darkening counsel in order for their idol freewill may glory, but nevertheless, we must witness the Truth of the accomplishments of the Death of Christ for those He did die for. Now here are benefits they have before they believe that other sinners do not have, and will never have.

#1. All those Christ died for, before they believe and before they are even born sinners, they have been delivered from the dominion of the Law of God, so that it cannot curse them. This is a Truth expressly stated here Gal 3:13

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Yes, as our Surety substitute on the Cross/Tree, Christ bore our sins, and in addition He bare our cuse due to our law breaking and sins against God. Yes He done this by becoming or being made a curse for us, if indeed He died for us, for He did not die for all without exception as Matt 25:41 indicates.

Again, Paul writes to Believers, that they, before they became Believers, that they had been made dead to the Law! Now how was that accomplished ? Was it by their believing or perhaps their repentance, or maybe their water baptism ? NO, none of those things which they do or did, but it was through the Body of Christ, which basically means His Death Rom 7:4

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

4 Likewise, my brethren, you have undergone death as to the Law through the [crucified] body of Christ, so that now you may belong to Another, to Him Who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God. AMP

Paul is saying, this occurred when Christ was Crucified for You !

The words "become dead" are in the aorist tense, and passive voice. Its the word thanatoō:

    to put to death

    metaph.
to make to die i.e. destroy, render extinct

by death to be liberated from the bond of anything, literally to be made dead in relation to (something)

Those Christ died for, by His Death alone, they were liberated from the bond of the Law, its dominion and curse, any relationship to it, so that now, they can be married or joined to their Bride Groom !

Now, all this has occurred and been applied to them, before they are even born sinners !

Benefits applied before we believe ! 2

#2. Reconciliation unto God. Yes this is a benefit that all for whom Christ died have to their account before they are born into this world as ungodly sinners. Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we[believers] were enemies, we were[as enemies] reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Yes, through Christ's Death ALONE, Two parties have been reconciled into the Divine Favor of God, and God s at Peace with Him. Now how is it so, when the sinners Christ died for are by nature His enemies ? It is because of substitution, or Suretyship. God is now at peace with their Surety on their behalf, who bare for them God's Vengeance against their sins, and when Christ rose from the dead as their Great Shepherd, God was at peace with Him for them Heb 12:30

20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

God had to be at Peace with Him, for their cause, before He raised Him from the dead. Yes reconciliation and peace was established between them and God by the Blood of His Cross Col 1:20

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Now this being the case, the truth, those whom He died for have [possess] Peace with God, even while they themselves are being God's enemies, born rebels and ungodly sinners, yet even then God has no more wrath for them, only Mercy and Grace !

Also in light of this Great Benefit, it is absolutely false and ignorant to even suggest for one second, that these unbelievers under God's wrath are anyone Christ died for. Jn 3:36

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Benefits applied before we believe ! 3

A benefit of the death of Christ for all those He died for, shed His Blood for, a benefit applied to their charge before the Law and Justice, is Forgiveness of sins, which is also Justification [from sin] Rom 6:7

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

As dead to the Law by the Body of Christ, so freed from sin, in its penalty ! Now forgiveness of sins is soley premised on the redemption that is in Christ Jesus Blood Eph 1:7

    7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

This comes upon them solely by the shedding of His Blood Heb 9:22 and Matt 26:28; And Paul Identifies this same redemption through His Blood as Justification Rom 3:24

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Now these were just Three of the Many Blessings/Benefits bestowed upon all for whom Christ died, even before they believe, and are why they shall believe.

Deliverance from the Law, Reconciliation to God, and Forgiveness of sins or Justification !

The reason why forgiveness of sins is Justification because in Rom 3:24 the greek word for Justification is dikaioó:

I make righteous, defend the cause of, plead for the righteousness (innocence) of, acquit, justify; hence: I regard as righteous.

    That word acquit means:

to relieve from a charge of fault or crime; declare not guilty: They acquitted him of the crime. The jury acquitted her, but I still think she's guilty.
    2.
to release or discharge (a person) from an obligation.
    3.
to settle or satisfy (a debt, obligation, claim, etc.).
    4.
to bear or conduct (oneself); behave: He acquitted himself well in battle.
    5.
to free or clear (oneself): He acquitted himself of suspicion.

    And the word forgiveness aphesis:

releasing someone from obligation or debt

So Forgiveness or Remission of sins = Justification, acquittal !

That ye be married to another 4

    Rom 7:4

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Now, since, death to the law has occurred, reconciliation and peace has occurred, and Forgiveness of sins and Justification have occurred, all solely by His Death for us, if He died for us, while we are yet enemies, and unbelievers, yet the end result was not that in and of itself, but that we should be married to another, even unto Him that was raised from the dead, being the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ. This denotes Union, Communion and Fellowship with Him that died for them; So that's why all for whom He died, when they are made meet Spiritually by New Birth. Thats actually what is meant by being made meet here Col 1:12

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Lets look at this a little closer. Paul is saying to give thanks to the Father, that we were made meet. The word meet hikanoō:

    to make sufficient, render fit

to equip one with adequate power to perform duties of one

It means to make able as here 2 Cor 3:6

6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Now ask yourself. Did God have to make them first believers in order to make them able ministers of the New Covenant ? Why certainly.

But we are speaking of one being made meet to be married unto Christ, the goal of Rom 7:4, why we were made dead to the Law by His Death. Notice next in Col 1:12, we were made meet to become partakers of a inheritance. Did you know that Christ is that Inheritance essentially !

The Psalmist rejoiced in this Thought Ps 16:5

The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

Remember, by His Blood we are made Priests unto God Rev 1:5-6

5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory
and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

    Ex 19:6

And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Now what the Law for Priests ? Numbers 18:20

20 And the Lord spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.

    Deut 18:1-2

The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and his inheritance.

2 Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the Lord is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them.

And so we are made meet to partake of Our Inheritance, Christ. That word partake is used also here 2 Cor 6:14-15

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

So the word partaker is a word that also denotes fellowship, so once we are made meet for this Inheritance [Christ Our Bridegroom] we are called into the Fellowship and Communion with Him 1 Cor 1:9

9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Thats now being married unto Him that was raised from the dead as Per Rom 7:4

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married/joined to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Now, it was for this Joining in fellowship and communion with Christ, that all for whom He died were made dead to the Law Rom 7:4, and in route to that end, God makes us meet for that Joining and fellowship by New Birth ! 18

That ye be married to another 5

Now, it was for this Joining in fellowship and communion with Christ, that all for whom He died were made dead to the Law Rom 7:4, and in route to that end, God makes us meet for that Joining and fellowship by New Birth !

And God does not call those who are in the flesh and darkness into the fellowship of His Dear Son ! For again it is written 2 Cor 6:14-17

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

So Christ's Death also secured the application of the means by which all for whom He died shall come into His Fellowship and Communion, this must be if they were to be experientially married to Him.

If this does not take place for each and every member of His Body the Church, whom He gave Himself in Behalf of Eph 5:25, His Death failed its purpose ! Also remember something, that their marriage to their first husband, the Law, that marriage has been permanently terminated by the Body of Christ [His Death] and they can never again be married again and come under his dominion !

    Things that accompany Salvation !

    Heb 6:9

9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

Did you know that things accompany Salvation ? Christ is a complete Saviour, by His Death all that was necessary was provided for everyone He died for, that they would live by Faith, for the Just shall live by Faith.

Christ is Our Salvation, if He died for us, and things accompany Him. Remember Paul wrote in Rom 8:32

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

The word with here is the greek word syn and it means: with as in union with .

So with the Giving of Christ who is our Salvation, to make it effective and complete things accompanied Him, things were given along with Him.

    Things that accompany Salvation !2

Certain things accompanied Salvation, or Christ. Christ is called God's Salvation here Lk 2:27-30

27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,

28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,

29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:

30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

The word accompany in Heb 6:9 is the word echo:

A.to be closely joined to a person or a thing

These things are closely joined to the Person of our Salvation Christ . These things come along with Christ !

Now one of the things that accompany Salvation is the Sanctification of the Spirit 2 Thess 2:13

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

This is because God hath made Christ unto us Sanctification 1 Cor 1:30

30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Sanctification accompanies the giving of Christ Rom 8:32

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

How could God give His Son to us sinners, without also with Him giving us Sanctification, and this comes in the Person of the Holy Spirit"s Sanctifying Work being applied to us. Jesus prayed that one end of His Death was that they may be sanctified by the Truth Jn 17:19-20

19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

    20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

Which brings us to another thing that accompanies Salvation and that is " The belief of the Truth" Or Faith. That's how others will believe on Him through their word, because they also shall be sanctified through the Truth !

The word belief in 2 Thess 2:13 is the word pistis a noun that is translated in the NT the word Faith some 239 times, which also denotes persuade or to be induced by words to believe !

The Holy Spirit in Sanctifying them, persuades their belief in the Truth Faith, and that is why to such as they, Rom 1:16 is True:

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The Gospel is the Power of God to everyone that is believing, believing the Truth as Per 2 Thess 2:13. So Faith / Belief of the Truth accompanies Salvation.

That's why the writer of Hebrews could write in the midst of Apostasy among them this Heb 10:39

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

The saving of the Soul is Salvation ! That's Because their believing is produced by the Power of God Rom 1:16 and Sanctifying Work of the Spirit 2 Thess 2:13; In God giving us Christ, He with Him [along with Him] gives us all things that produces a Life of Godliness Rom 8:32' 2 Pet 1:3

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

And acknowledging the Truth is Godliness Titus 1:1

    Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

Plain and simple if we are one of the Ones God to us Christ was given Rom 8:32, then so was the Acknowledging of the Truth which is after Godliness, Amen to the Glory of God ! 18

Christ's Purpose in dying for the Church !

    Eph 5:25-27

    25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Vs 26 starts out with the word that the greek word hina a
Conjunction that means: in order that, so that.

for the purpose that (in order that), looking to the aim (intended result)

So Christ gave Himself for the Church [called out ones] with the intended and purposed results to be effected: To sanctify her.

False religion is ignorant of God's Purpose in sending His Son to give His Life for the Church, but the purpose is being revealed in this passage, which is that He might sanctify her. This Purpose is also stated in Heb 13:12

12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Again the conjunction hina [that] denoting purpose and intended result. But now look whom is the object this time " The People"

This reveals to us if we have eyes to see, that "The People" of Heb 13:12 is the Church in Eph 5:26.

Yes the Believers of the Book of Hebrews " The People" and the Believers of the Book of Ephesians, the Church, the Body of Christ, are the same People !

Now lets move on and look at the word sanctify. Both times in Eph 5:26; Heb 13:12

    Its the greek verb hagiazó:

I make holy, treat as holy, set apart as holy, sanctify, hallow, purify.

to regard as special (sacred), i.e. holy ("set apart"), sanctify.

"to make holy, consecrate, sanctify; to dedicate, separate"

It does not just mean a outward setting apart but also an inward purification, to purify internally by reformation

This gives us to better understand what God Purposed to be effected by Christ's Death in this sanctifying !

The inward cleansing and sanctification is purposed as an result of Christ's Death. Remember His Death is the confirmation of the New Covenant Matt 26:28 of which promises like this were made :

    Heb 8:10

10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

    Jer 31:33

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

God's Law is Spiritual Rom 7:14.

So it promises conversion of the soul Ps 19:7

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

Now this comes by New Birth or Regeneration or renewing of the Holy Ghost Titus 3:5

    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Folks this Effect accompanies the Death of Christ, so much so, that if we are not partakers of it, this inward conversion [sanctification], then plain and simple, its impossible for Christ to have died for you or me, hence without this sanctification, no man see's the Lord Heb 12:14

One last comment, The Church in Eph 5:26 , the Body of Christ means the Called out ones. The Called out Ones are the Seed of Abraham, both in the OT and NT, we all were sanctified by Christ's Death Acts 20:32

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

    Acts 26:18

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

    Application of Redemption too !

    Rom 8:32

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

    Acts 3:25-26

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Notice, God having raised up His Son the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead, the Head of the Church His Body, He was sent to bless them, and How In turning away every one of you from your iniquities. Who are these every one of you ? Look at Vs 25 Its all who comprise "the all the kindreds of the Earth that shall be blessed"

What false teachers and religionists do not know is that the Redemption which Christ Effects brings with it its very own application of the same !; for without that , it would not even be Redemption, it would be an action less Redemption ! Then it would be a failure to do something that should be done !

Now the Blessing of Abraham through his Seed Per Acts 3:25; Gen 12:3;18:18;22:18;26:4; Gal 3:8, the blessing by which they are blessed is this that is found here in Acts 3:26

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

This is the application, the action taken by the Death of Christ, it turns each person for whom He died and Redeemed, turns them away from their iniquities [conversion] their darkness. Now did this also apply to Gentiles ? Most definitely, for look what it says in Vs 25 again

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

    Now look at Acts 26:17-18

17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee [to the Gentiles],

18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Yes, its the same turning here applied to the Gentiles that Peter wrote about here in Acts 3:25-26

Also its the same sent, in Acts 3:26 " God SENT Him to bless you ! And in Acts 26:17 the word send, Paul was sent to the Gentiles by Jesus Christ as an carrying out the Action that Christ was sent to do in Acts 3:26

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Hence the Blessing of Redemption is the conversion from a vain manner of Life 1 Pet 1:18-19

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation
    received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Christ's Death of Redemption makes an application of Redeeming those for whom He died out of a vain manner of Life, for if it did not do that for everyone Christ died for then again it failed to do something that should be done .

What's your position today on the Application of Redemption ? If it is anything short of it converting all those Christ died for from their sins, then its error, and grievous error ! 18

Shall many be made Righteous !

Shall be made Righteous ! Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

19 For as indeed by the disobedience of the one man the many have been constituted sinners, so also by the obedience of the one the many will be constituted righteous.

What is Paul teaching here ? Well in addition to him teaching that by Christ's obedience for the many shall account them Righteous, it also means that they shall be constituted Righteous, which speaks of a production.

The word made is the greek word kathistemi and means:

to constitute, to render, make, cause to be

    To constitute means:

to make up or form something

: to be the same as something : to be equivalent to something

    : to establish or create

This is speaking of New Birth or a New Creation, a New Production, a causing to be, or show to be Righteous !

It means the constituting Essence of a New Divine Nature 2 Pet 1:4

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Hence a New Man becomes Our inward Life 1 Pet 3:4

4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Its the Life of God and Christ formed in us Gal 4:19.

Its the inward reconstruction foretold here Ezk 36:26-27

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit[i.as seat or organ of mental acts] will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

    Jer 31:33

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

    Jer 32:40

40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

You see, since by His Obedience we are reckoned Righteous before God, its followed up and showed to be by constituting us Righteous by New Birth. This is a must; For the same applies to 2 Cor 5:21

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

The word made here is the greek word ginomai:

I.to become, i.e. to come into existence, begin to be, receive being

This speaks to the New Birth, a New Creature, a New Man is brought into being, that inner man or hidden man of the heart.

Through Christ's death or obedience we shall begin a life of Christ likeness by New Birth, that's a certainty, because scripture says, they SHALL BE MADE RIGHTEOUS !

Shall means it must happen, as when Jesus told the Elect Pharisee Jn 3:7

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

    That word must dei:

I.it is necessary, there is need of, it behooves, is right and proper
    A.
necessity lying in the nature of the case

Its right and proper because His Death has already legally declared them Righteous, now they must be constituted so, and showed to be so !

    Accomplishments of Christ's Death !

All for whom Christ died have certain unknown blessings applied to them, applied before they become believers, such is the case regarding Redemption through His Blood Eph 1:7

    7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Now who is that Christ died for, that has Redemption through His Blood according to the riches of His Grace ? Its those of Eph 1:4 and no others.

    The word redemption apolytrōsis means:

I.a releasing effected by payment of ransom
    A.
    redemption, deliverance

    B.
liberation procured by the payment of a ransom

Notice it says a releasing effected ! That's key, the word effected means:

a change that results when something is done or happens : an event, condition, or state of affairs that is produced by a cause

However, we are going to look at things effected before those Christ redeemed by His Blood become believers, and while they are yet ungodly !

One such blessing is redeemed from the curse of the Law Gal 3:13

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Yes by Grace, all for whom Christ died, whom He was made a curse for, when they like others are born into this world as evil and ungodly sinners, deserving nothing but God's Curse and Eternal Damnation, they however unlike the others, have been redeemed from [out of] the curse of the Law. This is just an immediate consequence of Christ's meritorious death. Some translations read :

Christ has redeemed us out of the curse of the law

All this is true because Christ as the substitute for those He died, not only bore their curse, but became a curse for them. This is far more than just being a sacrifice for sin, but actually bearing the Guilt and Punishment and Penalty for others.

This is a Truth that Grace haters will not receive. Also it would be absolutely impossible for any for whom Christ died, was made a curse for, to ever meet this End Matt 25:41

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Even if one Christ died for never became a believer they could not suffer this fate of the goats on Christ's Left Hand. Even though I don't think it's possible for anyone Christ died for not to come to faith, the point is, their faith or lack thereof has nothing to do with the fact that they are redeemed from the curse of the Law, the only determining factor for that is, Christ was made a curse for them Gal 3:13

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law [The sentence of condemnation and death], being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

The Blood of Christ Eph 1:7 !

Another accomplishment for all those Christ died and consequently redeemed , something they have by redemption before they believe a thing and while they are still being enemies, they are freed from sin Rom 6:18

18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

This being made free from sin comes through the fact, that the old man, who we are in Adam, it being crucified with Christ, just as Paul said he was here Gal 2:20

20 I am [or was in the past] crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

In the greek its actually I was Crucified with Christ perfect tense, as for all whom He died were [The Church]. According to God's Law and Justice, when Jesus Christ died, those who become believers, were included in Him Rom 6:6-7

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

6 Knowing this, that our old man is [or was] crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. This teaches the very same thing Paul stated of himself in Gal 2:20a !

So being freed from sin means to be free from the penalty of sin, justified from the penalty of sin; Set free from its dominion as to it cannot condemn us or damn us. Those Christ died for have no longer this penalty of Death owed to God's Law and Justice as Per Rom 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Not because of anything they did or believed, but solely through the Redemption through His Blood Eph 1:7, and this is True before they believe and are yet being enemies !

I already know many will not be able to receive this Truth, because it is hid from them.

    Accomplishments of Christ's Death ! Redemption 3

All for whom Christ died and consequently redeemed, before they believe a thing, and while they are enemies, they are nevertheless dead to the Law altogether Rom 7:1-4

Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

The Law has no dominion at all over over anyone Christ died for because the Law died in the body of Christ [meaning His Death].

Now understand the difference, all those Christ did not die for, they are still married in principle to the Law, their husband is permanently the Law of God, Christ's death not terminating their marriage to it. This puts them in a precarious situation, they have no choice but to owe to God's Law total and perfect obedience which obedience they cannot render or suffer the consequences if they offend in one point, they have no alternative at all, but with all for whom Christ died, He in their behalf rendered to it perfect obedience and suffered for them the death penalty they deserved for their disobedience to it, all their disobediences to it, so that they are totally free from it, dead to it, and do in fact by a free gracious imputation, they have all been credited with Christ's Perfect law obedience in their behalf, as though they have personally performed it themselves and now sit in Glory at the Right Hand of God, and this is True of them even as when in reality, they themselves are enemies, ungodly in their manner of life. Now this most blessed Truth those in man made false religion will never receive, not for a second, frankly because they are not able to, being themselves under the curse of the law, their thinking will always reflect that, man to them must take some step to gain the approval and acceptance with God ! 19

    Accomplishments of Christ's Death ! Redemption 4

A Blessing from redemption, that all have charged to them, for whom Christ died, before they become believers, is that they all have eternal life, not yet experimental, but legally and owed to them, for them not to experience it, God would be unjust. In a legal sense they possess it, its theirs, its charged to their account because of Righteousness, for Righteousness brings Life ! Prov 12:28

In the way of righteousness is life: and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

Yes, Eternal Life is imputed to all for whom Christ died as a Gift Rom 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Its through Jesus Christ . Lets look again at Eph 1:7

    7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

    Now read Vs 11

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

In and by Him, all whom He redeemed have obtained an Inheritance, which Inheritance is Eternal Life, He hath obtained it for them Heb 9:12

12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

That Eternal Redemption is Eternal Inheritance Heb 9:15

15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Now while the heirs of promise are yet still dead in sin, God's enemies by nature, they have obtained and have a title right to Eternal Redemption and Inheritance. The Eternal Inheritance is premised upon the Eternal Redemption; By the way, the Promise God made to Abraham here Gen 17:8 is based upon Heb 9:12, and is the same subject matter as Heb 9:15.

All for whom Christ died, by His Eternal Redemption, are born into this world as sinners, but as heirs to Eternal Life !

Ye are complete in Him !

    Col 2:10

10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Now I know this is addressed to believers, however the Truth is that believers are complete in Him before they believe, and because that is so, they are also Justified before God before they believe, prior to Faith in Christ, for Justification is part of being complete in Him.

Believers did not put themselves in Him [Christ], but the Father God did 1 Cor 1:30

30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Before the foundation God chose believers in Christ, and that is were and when He first put them in Christ Eph 1:4, hence believers were in Him and complete before they believed. If one was not in Christ before they believed, then quite frankly He could not have died for that one, or died for their sins, because those whom we was crucified for, when He was crucified, they were crucified with Him, for instance Paul saith of himself Gal 2:20

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

The word crucified is the word συσταυρόω:

I crucify together with,I fix to the cross, crucify; fig: I destroy, mortify

he was fixed to the cross with Christ when Crucified. The word also is in the perfect indicative, indicating that something happened and completed definitely in the past, with results of it in the present.; and it is also written of all believers Rom 6:5-6

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Its the same word as in Gal 2:20 crucified with. This did not happen when one believed, it happened when Christ was actually crucified.

The reason why it can be written that Paul and other believers were crucified with Christ together, is because they were in Him, and it is in Him that they were Complete, even before they believed, and so Justified before they believed !

Ye are complete in Him !2

If we were not crucified with/together with Christ [in the Mind and Purpose of God] in Union with Him when He was put to death for us, then we have no hope of ever walking in the newness of life, which is typified by His being raised from the dead for us Rom 6:4-5

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Vs 5 here is saying if we were planted together with Him as in His Death, being in union with Him when He died for our sins [1 Cor 15:3] then as a result of that, we shall also be in the Likeness of His Resurrection for us, by New Birth or Spiritual Resurrection or Quickening !

For New Birth is that which is the antitype of being in the Likeness of His Resurrection Vs 5.

Ones New Birth in time is but the spiritual evidence and proof that Christ died and rose again in our behalf, people who in this lie who are never born again by the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead as Per 1 Peter 1:3

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

3 Praised (honored, blessed) be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)! By His boundless mercy we have been born again to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,AMP

Then they were not in Him or represented by Him [in the Mind and Purpose of God] when He died and rose again for His Sheep; Remember He rose from the dead as the Great Shepherd of the Sheep Heb 13:20

20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Again, if we never in this Life are born again by the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, then we were not in Him when He died and rose again, and so He simply did not die for us , its that simple !

And because those who are in Him are born again before they believed, they were complete in Him before they believed, which their believing evidences !

The Blessedness of Christ dying for our sins ?

What is the supreme Blessedness of Christ dying for our sins as Per 1 Cor 15:3

    3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

It is this, those He died for are the man here in Rom 4:8

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

    Ps 32:1-2

1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

2 Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

The only reason why Rom 4:8 is true is because 1 Cor 15:3 is true. The sins, iniquities which are not imputed to us is because they were imputed to Christ, and hence they are not ours any more when that transaction was done, which was before He died for them. Simply put Rom 4:8 and its Blessedness of non imputation applies to all for whom Christ died ! There is no record of their sins before God ! Now what are Two consequences of Rom 4:8 ? #1. Their iniquities are forgiven Vs 7

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

They are send away. Remember how the High Priest on the day of Atonement would do this Lev 16:21-22

21 And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

22 And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

They are forever removed before God's Law and Justice Ps 103:12

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

#2 Righteousness has been imputed to them without their works Vs 6

6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

And this is even while they in themselves are being Ungodly Vs 5

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Yes, the blessedness is that Righteousness has been imputed to them, and sins forgiven them, while they are being Ungodly.

That's the Blessedness of Christ dying for our sins if He indeed did die for our sins at all ! 19

The Blessedness of Christ dying for our sins ? 2

All for whom Christ died are the man that is called blessed here in Rom 4:8

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

8 Blessed and happy and to be envied is the person of whose sin the Lord will take no account nor reckon it against him.

    John Gill on this verse:

Now again, Rom 4:8 is foundational on 1 Cor 15:3

    3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

Now this is true because the sins that are not imputed to those of Rom 4:8 as well as 2 Cor 5:19, those sins were by the Justice of God Imputed to Christ, He must die for them, not them, that was the suretyship arrangement before the world began. That means Christ became the principle debtor to God's Law and Justice for them !

Then again we looked at the effects of sin not being imputed to those in Rom 4:8 and 2 Cor 5:19, which #1 is forgiveness of sins Rom 4:7

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Barnes quotes calvin here on this vere saying:

Whose sins are covered - Are concealed; or hidden from the view. On which God will no more look, and which he will no more remember. "By these words," says Calvin (in loco), "we are taught that justification with Paul is nothing else but pardon of sin."

And I concur that Forgiveness of sins is Justification / Acquittal before God.

Its what Paul means by Justification here Rom 8:33

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

That's the result of God not imputing sin Rom 4:8 !

And #2. Its Righteousness Imputed without works [doings, actions, obeying] Rom 4:6

6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

To better understand this concept , its just like how adam's sin was imputed to them without their act of actual disobedience, so likewise Christ's Righteousness is imputed to them without their actual act of obedience !

Now understand this Righteousness Imputed to us is the reciprocal exchange for sin Imputed to Christ. 2 Cor 5:21

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

He by imputation was made sin [an offering] and we by imputation was made Righteous !

That equates to Our Justification and His Condemnation, for Our sins 1 Cor 15:3; which goes along with 2 Cor 5:21. This Truth is also reflected here Rom 5:18

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon[by imputation] all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon[by Imputation] all men unto justification of life.

This is part of the Blessedness of Christ dying for our sins, if He did die for them, if we were one of His Sheep !

He was made unto us Sanctification !

    1 Cor 1:30

30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

For those Christ died for, He was made unto us of God The Father, Sanctification. Did you know that all for whom Christ died, through His Death alone, That God made Him unto us [if He died for us] Sanctification. The word here is hagiasmos:

    I.
    consecration, purification

    II.
    the effect of consecration
    A.
    sanctification of heart and life

Its translated holiness here :Rom 6:19, Rom 6:22, Heb 12:14

Now this Sanctification/ holiness is Real before God, even when its not unto us, and its permanent, and its solely based upon what God did for us through Christ; and by His Offering [His Death], every one He died for is perfectly Sanctified Heb 10:10-14

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

    12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Now the word sanctified in Vs 10 is in the perfect tense, a action completed in the past with results coming into the present. His death guarantees those He died for inward sanctification of Life as well. In fact the word sanctification here in Vs 10 is slightly different from the one in 1 Cor 1:30 but both convey the Truth of inward sanctification:

to purify internally by reformation of soul:

That's why all for whom Christ died experience the Sanctification of the Spirit as Per 2 Thess 2:13, its a blessing that compliments the Death of Christ and its sanctifying those He died for !

Nothing can be added, nothing can be taken away, its the work of God. All sinners for whom Christ died, no matter who they are, gentile, jew, white, black, male or female, no matter what time of world history they lived in, they are born into this world ungodly, and at the same time perfectly Sanctified by the Body of Christ, which is a way of saying His Death !
