You learn something new everyday.
I haven't posted in a while, but I was listening to Guidelines on the radio this morning and Dr. Sala was talking about the Book of Kells.
I had never heard about it before, but apparently it is a beautifully illustrated latin manuscript of the 4 gospels that was done between 650 and 800AD.
From what I could research, it looks like a copy of the Latin Vulgate.
Anyone familiar with this?

Yup - very familiar. Have seen it several times here in Dublin. It is kep at Trinity College in Dublin City Centre. You can buy it on CD from the Trinity College website.
