I've never joined a gym - but did use the one at the high school - many years ago. (The girls are now 30 and they were in 7th grade at the time - you do the math - I'm to tired to figure it out.)

I get on a fitness kick - used to jog - now its walking - but if I am going to do it - its like anything else I do - I just in - head-over-heels and get carried away.

I can always loose weight exercising - but when I quit I usually put it all back on and sometimes more.

PS - I recently bought Jan a treadmill - because she doesn't want to walk outdoors and if she walked with me - either I'd say that she walks to slow - or she'd say that I walk to fast. Now both of us cannot be right - or wrong - so if we walk - we do it our own way!!!

I walk the park and 2 laps is one mile. My legs never feel like Jello when I am done. But on this treadmill, my legs are all wobbly when I get done.

Yeah Kenny walks about 4.5 on the treadmill and I am at 3.5. You got to start out at about 2.5 to gget use to it. I walk slower too I guess. I do not take that long stride I guess.

I love the workout. It is nothing like I thought it would be. I like using those different machines. Its really fun, and I have met about 4 others who are regulars too.

I am only sore under my arms, because yesterday I lifted 45 pound weights...3 sets. It was scary because you lay down and lift above your head. He then added weights to the bar..and then I kind of freaked. I was really glad he stayed where I was.

Some drivers take their half out of the middle - you took more than your half out of the middle if you think Savannah, GA is halfway!!!

    Any good preachers in Savannah?

Sherrie, I've been meaning to ask you WHAT is wrong with white food? Is it just the color for you? My youngest won't eat anything red.

I've never been to a church in Savannah. In the last 9 years, I may have been to Savannah 3-4x.

White foods are all bad Carbs. Good carbs are like green beans, broccilli (?) lettuce, celery tomatoes, carrots, wheat flour, etc, not white flour, corn is hard on the blatter. Very bad. (But taste mighty good!) The white foods are also high in startches that also are not good for you. Anytime you eat a bad carb, you start racking up bad fat calories.

Fruits have natural sugars that you should enjoy. Teas are excellent without sugar,

But some insist on it, so Splenda is a wonderful subsitute, it is made from real fruit sugars. No cancer.

As much as I love onions, to eat as a food are bad! they retain water and will force your body to not give up the calories.

Pasta noodles are high in startch too. Bad...

And also I cannot swallow them. I try...I just can't. Texture thing.

I will search on the not eating red foods. I did read something about that one time, and cannot remember.

    I take vitimins too.
