I didn't want the Coffee Shop to dry up and disappear. I think it serves a need.

What's going on. Did we loose somebody. I must have missed something while I was traveling this weekend.

But, I did not miss one thing. My sister in-law had a baby :D She has red hair. 7 lbs 12 oz, Her name is Laura. They live in Ohio so we can't see her yet

Congratulations Uncle Kelly on the birth of your niece! I have a daughter named Laura. I trust mother and baby are both doing fine?

I am off to Wally World. The church is giving my granddaughter a Bridal Shower tomorrow night and I don't have her gift yet!

I will see you all when I get back...

Oh my! I didn't know anyone was gone from the BB, till I catched up on the pages! Sherrie is so precious to me, and Jim and Katie were special blessings. Oh I do hope they come back!
Granny Sue, I will be praying for those missionaries. I'm very close to some missionaries in my church, and if something like that happened to them, i'd be on pins and needles.
We called off the posse yet? ;) :D

Actually, Abby--no we haven't called off the posse! As you know, Blackbird is in charge of investigations and a crime has been committed. Now, if you go rob a bank, take the money and run, and then later on return the money to the bank--well, that's ok with the banker that the money has been returned---BUT---a crime has still been committed---and the culprit must be apprehended.

And Blackbird will handle all negotiations! I'm sure there will be a few wrinkles I'll need to iron out of the "demand" list--

But yes, to answer your question--no, the posse is not being called off---I'm just waitin' now on a telegram to come in from Dodge--got a few leads in just about every state---some of the men will need fresh horses and food---Blackbird can hold out--his horse is like him---Simper Fi!!!! (Learned that from Tyndale!)

Talk to ya'll later--as soon as I get to another telegram shack--I'll send word on the posse's progress!

Now, your horse is over here---quarterhorse--3 years old--should be good for about 10 days! Then we'll all hav'ta get fresh horses if we ain't stumbled across anybody by then!
Sheriff BBird , I'm gonna need a wholehorse if you want me to deputy for you. But, it seems for the time being that we will hold off on the posse and just stick around town.

Shelia , Scotland Yard would've been great. Anyone would do better than those chaps who guarded the harry potter books.

Bro. Dan , You're here, you're there, you're everywhere. If a second is all you can muster, then we'll take the second.

Jon , Somebody got scared, cause they knew we were on to them, better yet, they knew that Sheriff Blackbird was gonna get them or else.

Sue , I have thought about the missionaries several times today, off and on.
We have some family friends who are medical missionaries in Gaza. They have been there since the 80's. When ever I hear the word missionary, they are the first thing that pops in my mind.

My mom and dad were living in Israel about a year ago. Dad was pastoring a baptist church there. Everytime the news would come on and show bombing footage, we would call pleading them to come home. It got bad enough that the American Embassy urged them to leave and gave them safe passage. The missionaries in Gaza stayed. This is their life.

Still praying,

Gib

Nooooooooooooooo. Don't tell Blackbird! We don't EVER want to get blackbird upset! Besides, he would be mad that something happened and he missed it!

STILL NO WORD ON THE MISSIONARIES

I am back from Wally World...forgot my list so I spent too much money. I was gonna bring supper home, but left Wal-Mart broke.

I will be back on later, I have to fix supper since I spent all the money. :D

When will we ever learn:

Stopped in for a drink of DDP, we actually bought some the other day, it was cheap or I'd still be drinking DDT.

I've pretty much decided to post tomorrows devotional tonight. Hope nobody gets confused.

Good Morning!

This is a day that the Lord hath made! I will rejoice and be glad in it!

I see I am the first one here this morning. I have the coffee on, come on in. I can't believe I beat Jon and Sheila in here!!!

94 degrees and humid here today. I will get some outside painting done early and will work INSIDE in the A/C the rest of the day! :D

I'll be back later when the rest of you
