It was good to read another post from rsr earlier today. I guess he finally finished his secret mission that blackbird sent him on.

Well here I am - I see certain people have been talking behind my back - maybe you should all PM one another - so I don't know what's going on!!  But of course - if you PM you won't get credit for a post, and that wouldn't do, would it?

My name is Daniel Floyd Todd - his name is Kelly Daniel Floyd Todd, and his children are my grandchildren.

That's all the hints I'm going to give on that subject.

OH! Ok! LOL, at least I wasn't wrong, and ya'll didn't think I was crazy. When I saw Kelly's first name and then saw that he would PREACH, I nearly fell of my chair! {I thought we had a woman preacher!} then when Kelly went on to say something about his wife, I realized that in his case, Kelly was a guy's name! So now you might just think I'm crazy...if you do, you might be right...and that's all I'LL say on THAT subject!

Well, Jan I drove back down to Troupsburg - to pick up the hickory chair that we had ordered.

Then we went to Westfield, PA - where we had supper at Schoonovers - it was a great meal.

Jan had delmonico steak - I had liver, onions, and bacon - delicious. The whole meal came to $20.30 - what a deal.

That was a great deal. Number one son is now old enough not to "get kids under 12" anymore. We went to the Outback with $65 gift certificate and it took the whole thing. I don't see how some families eat out all the time.

We always try to catch the early bird specials or late lunch specials.

It does help when the children are all grown - and you no longer have to feed them.

It also helps when you find some nice mom-and-pop eatin places - where they don't gouge you on price - and still give you a decent size and good tasting meal.

If one of your parents live by - get them to watch the children and take your wife out on a date - just the two of you.

Sherrie--rsr is right! Its probably your Serpintine belt--but it can be fixed "lickity split!"--I could do it from here but it'll cost you the revelation of the initials R T!!!

NAPA usually carries those babies in stock--go there and ask them---probably cost ya about $45 smackers--then call your preacher and ask him if he knows any mechanic at church who could run by your house and fix it for ya!! If you want the challange yourself--the diagram is printed on the hood frame--as you pop the hood it should be somewhere around the radiator cap---looks like a race track with two pullys attached! That's how the belt needs to go on! Kenny could do it---of course I don't know why in the heck that R T can't do it--anybody that'll buy you flowers can fix a car!! Just kiddin' there!!!

Your Southern Baptist buddy,
Blackbird

I like to talk big, but I know who is the big cheese in this house. She allows me to think outside the bun from time to time.
