I worked a good 50 or more hours these past two weeks, and I'm supposed to get paid today, right? Well...the paychecks didn't come through the mail, so I call up the place that does our paychex to find out that it wasn't their fault, it was the owners!!!

The three of us that work here have BILLS we have to pay, and I have a few surprises that I have to pay for....now...because the owner decided to call our hours in this morning, we won't be getting our paychecks until Tuesday!! We can't wait until Tuesday!!! There's things that are called interest that we'll get nailed with if we don't pay bills!!!

As if that isn't bad enough, I've had customers that come in because they got billed when they weren't supposed to!!! GRRR!!!! Can this day go any worse?!!!!

HI! Hey speaking of pictures...I could not get Kenny to help with the trash. Its his chore. But I saw our neighbor doing it. I wonder how much Kenny paid him? And I have proof my neighbor helped with the trash! Just click below!

Good Job Jim! Jon's picture should be by his name soon. I shortened it for him and sent it to Clint. Clint said it would be up very soon.

AdoptedDaughter, I don't blame you for being upset. The people you owe money to still want their money even if you don't have it yet. And that was pretty cruel making you wait until AFTER the holiday to get paid. I'm sure you probably had plans for some of it this weekend.

Jim, I'm glad you stopped by. Did you finish the plans for the house that was almost ready to build a few weeks ago?

It looks like your "neighbor" has the trash can upside-down. I hope he didn't get trash all over your lawn.

Hi People! I am ready for a DDP!

Jim: It is a shame when any city (or country) loses their industry to someone else. This is not the first time it has happened here. On the bright side, the factory that hubby works for just brought all their stuff back from Mexico because the work was inferior.

rsr: Blackbird better learn how to make that 'stink bait'. I will sell it but I'm not gonna make it! As far as a place for him to make it, I suggest that little unused building out in back with a cresent=shaped moon on it. Smells like someone already made a stink in there.

Jon: Nice picture. You look just like I thought you would...a bonny Scot!

Sherrie and Rod: Did you peek at my Memorial Day page?

I have the same info on there! I have other things on there also though if anyone would like to take a look.

Rod, this time of year, I always have a house or building on the go. I currently have three houses on the drawing board, two have been started and others are asking. One of the three on the board will be started in two weeks, another has been staked out. The third is a fall start. It never rains, but it pours. Makes me realize why I went into ministry. It was only 7 days a week; architecture is 8 days a week.

Cheers,

Jim

Jim, now I know why you don't have as much time to post here. It sounds like you have been very busy. That is great that you have something that you really enjoy doing to keep you busy in your retirement. Do you mainly work for people locally or is your work spread out over large area?

Sherrie, I tried to do that thing with the pictures. You have somethng other than a Mac don't you? I figured it out though. How fun!!!

Sherrie...too funny about the trash. I was reading that after picking up the neighbors thrash that they threw in my hedges and my yard by their trashcan...clicked on that link you gave...and got a pretty good laugh.

Thanks Pal...According to one of the polls in the polls forum...I'm a Wednesday child who is full of woe. So laughs are always appreciated. And I'm not an easy laugher. If something is funny...I laugh...but nobody get's pity laughs from me. Isn't that sad? I can't give pity laughs?

Rod, my specialty is historic buildings, and they have taken me to Pennsylvania as well as all over Ontario. People take historic building, have them disassembled and rebuilt on a different site. The costs range anywhere from 1 1/4 million dollars and up.

I also do a lot of local work,.,,within a 100 mile range. These houses are all local, but higher end homes. As I said to wife, either I am popular or I am cheap. She was cheeky and said I was cheap....

I always practiced architecture whilst I was in ministry. Sometimes as recreation, and in one church, it was my only income.

Architecture was my choice. The ministry was my parents choice, and in keeping with old English custom, the elder son always obeys his parents.

I work on a different computer behind me and leave this one on. I check the Board every so often for a break.

Cheers,

Jim

Wisdom Seeker isn't that cute. Boy I hate when I get everybodies trash in my yard. Its like no one picks up their own trash.

Jim thats what Kenny my son wants to be is an Architect. He loves every part of it. He is interested in modern buildings, and designs.

So that neighbor of mine, don't know whether to thank him, or ask to leave it alone.

I have a Gateway PC...Windows/Microsoft internet explorer. but really....I have put different things on it. I have a Philips CDRW4000..different keyboard,....replaced parts on my own....so nothing is the original but the monitor.

Rod hows the new couch looking?

Jim, you may be cheaper than others doing the same thing, but you still wouldn't have the big demand if you didn't do quality work as well, especially if it is higher end homes. I have a friend that intentionally works for less money than he could because he says it allows him to be selective about the jobs he chooses to do. If he required more money, he said their would be fewer people willing to hire him and he wouldn't have as many choices. The important thing is that you enjoy the work.

You just click on the picture and then on properities, then copy the URL. The whole address.

Then on image you backspace removing the http, that is already up there, and then paste the address.

Click on preview post and see if its there. If it is, you did it right.

It is fun once you know.

Now if you are on another board that you can only do textyou can do this

Inside these brackets <> IMG SRC=""

Now inbetween the "" you put the URL address. It will then show up.

Now if you want oyur picture to be centered you would put this before the above formula:
<> put this inside it: center

then after the above formula you would put <> Put this inside those brackets /center

If you want you text to be bold you do the same as above and just put bold inside it or /bold.

<><> see how they touch...leave no spaces.
