Jon...this is the sequel to those threads. If you look at the beginning of this thread...I posted a weather forcast for you up until Wed. I think. Now I will have to go back and see.

Also help is just so hard to find these days....and with everyone here being boardmembers....well, you just will have to pitch in and serve.
:D

Bro. Ed...let us know something when you find out.

thank you sherrie, but how come you have given so much cloud and showers. As a Baptist you should know that we are used to lots of water so there should be more than showers

yours, Jon.

Does it rain a lot in Scotland? I know it does in England. My friend went over a couple of years ago and she said it was foggy and rained a lot in England.

Thank you, Brother Ed, Tuesday is on the prayer calendar,,the 15th it is. God bless and touch you, my friend.

I see trials as another way to show our trust in the Lord. The things that are beyond our hands, but never beyond His watchful eye.

Cheers, and God bless,

Jim

You kept your keyboard for that long? Have computers been around that long?

Could have been.
I was in college in 1970 (I'm dating myself now), and I took a course in computers then. It was called Fortran IV. I had to punch cards. The computer took up the size of an entire room. I don't think it performed as many functions as the small laptop sitting right here.

Sherrie, the west coast of scotland gets a considerable amount of rain as the prevailing winds come straight across the atlantic. Does that mean that we are getting american rain?

In 1991? my pastor was using a tandy. He said he would never go to the newer computers. The next year he upgraded. I hope to one day be among the laptop crowd. All the techs at work have one and can plug in anywhere. I'm still using the "darkside", black screen & green letters.

What kind of work do you do?

I truthfully don't know about the laptop. My son also has one. But he has regular computer too. He is taking Computer Science. DNA in Numbers, and he does not care for it. I thought about getting one, but for the money, you would be better off just buying a new computer. I think they are very high priced too. It would be nice if on a vacation or just at work, but for more than that ...I am not sure.

I work for a cable co. We use CSG systems for our billing and data entry. "Darkside" is a term used by CSG techs to identify the program we use. Most computer based companies use programs like microsoft. Our's is not a point and click, but rather type-in shortcuts and menus. Very boring.
Our screens are black and everything typed is green. CSG charges us for every typed character and space in between. So, we abbreviate everything. For ex. got2go/c u later.

Hey there everyone. I hope you don't mind, but I just don't like any kind of coffee. So I am going to have hot Choclolate. How's everyone doin'?

I'm doing just great Joseph, sitting in a comfortable chair, on a lazy Sunday afternoon, enjoying the fellowship of the BB, all the while sipping a freshly brewed cup of Kona Hawaiian coffee.
How about you?

Beautiful day outside. Sitting in my leather computer chair, sipping hot cocoa, and enjoying life. Getting ready to go perform in the final night of our Easter Musical in about 30 minutes. It is about 82 degrees outside.

Hi Joseph! No, you aren't required to drink coffee. My drink of choice is Dr. Pepper. How are things in your area of the state? It is warm and sunny in the NW corner today. Do you have many band activities this time of the year?

82 degrees, eh?
Well it's still a relatively nice day at 38 degrees, for this time of year. By Wednesday it will be 57 again. But no 80 degree temperatures around here at this time of year.
