We have no organ at our church--but we are still pretty organ-ized!
-
Hey, is there any provision for shutting down a thread because of over-punning?!
-
I heard of a lot of organ donors in the UK. In al seriousness... There is a particular former communist country that has had an increase in appreciation for the organ. So they send teams to the UK who dismantle and then reassemble unwanted or old ogans from the UK.

I feel for so many churches who would love to use their organ more, but can't find (or afford) someone to play.
We're blessed here--we have three capable organists, and one or two others that can play it in a pinch.
(I'm a keyboard man myself...anything more than a sustain pedal causes my feet to go on strike). -
I like the piano. For many years I would sit at the piano and pick out songs by ear.
I never used the damper pedals though. Never could figger out what those three pedals were for.
Last year, I found out what that center pedal was for.
It is there to separate the other two. -

Hello guys,
This is my first post. In short, I'm an American, working in Korea....
From reading all the previous posts, it seems you guys are talking about the Pipe Organ. I have to agree with you, I've never heard anyone play a pipe organ.
Myself, I can play a Hammond Organ, which is used extensively in Gospel music, but with a lot of churches turning toward contemporary style music, it's not used as much in a studio setting.
