    What alternative is there other than trying to slowly reopen with safety protocols in place? The government(taxpayers) can’t just keep going further and further into debt and the Federal Reserve can’t just keep creating more and more money out of thin air.

    Lesson #1, those "facts" which you resort to an "Appeal to Authority Fallacy" above on are merely incomplete arguments, in fact, they are rhetorical statements more than logical arguments. ...Really dude, it's pretty obvious you should probably take my advice above. ;)

    Strawman = relating to the Op no one is suggesting total isolation, there has been none and no mention was made about opening slowly, - I certainly am not against opening slowly and carefully. Please show me where this idea is part of your "facts" in your Op?

    Maybe you and Wingman should take the class together?

    So? Governments aren't going to just throw the doors open on May 1 and advocate throwing away the safety protocols and go wild.

    The economy is shrinking and the public is disgusted. People are now ignoring the government directives. Perhaps a recession or depression helps Biden but Biden has been incoherent on what is good about the Obama economic record. Nor does Biden have any coherent medical advice. So a backlash is building against the lockdowns and the police.
