I heard about this also. Could also be why Trump decided to forgo the veto for now, and keep the govt. running.

And mind you, Horowitz is an Obama appointee.

why Trump decided to forgo the veto for now

I didn't catch it all but Rush was talking about Trump is able to divert(?) funds from this HUGE military budget to construct fences, barriers, walls, etc. for defense of the border. Maybe he's had that in mind all along? More likely Trump-hating congress just dumped on him though.

Oh I think both are true. It would be fantastic if Trump could go this route and thwart all of them.

The Reckoning of the FBI Has Begun

"...The real draining of the Swamp has finally begun. Jeff Sessions may have quietly been engineering it in ways his critics, even Trump himself, didn't realize...."

...maybe ol' Jeff has been busy behind the scenes after all...

What is John Brennan Hiding?

"...Michael Doran of the Hudson Institute has assembled a timeline from mainstream news stories which he believes shows that it was Brennan (probably with Barack Obama's approval) who began the whole Trump-Russia collusion fantasy. It was Brennan who used Democrat senators like the truth-challenged Harry Reid as "ventriloquist's dummies" to spread Hillary Clinton's anti-Trump propaganda to the public and Brennan who pressured the FBI to investigate the Trump campaign using Clinton materials like the scurrilous Steele Dossier.

This is incredibly low and smarmy stuff. And since Brennan feels comfortable sitting on television and suggesting, without any evidence whatsoever, that the president of the United States is being blackmailed by our enemies, I think it's perfectly fair for the rest of us to speculate in turn about why a former spook would spin such fantasies.

It now seems clear that Barack Obama, in transforming the federal government into a Chicago-style machine, allowed and perhaps encouraged the leadership of the Department of Justice and the FBI to behave in shamefully political and dishonest ways. Loretta Lynch's tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton. Adulterous FBI Agent Peter Strzok's anti-Trump bias and his mysterious "insurance policy" in the event of Trump's election. McCabe's recently uncovered and clearly absurd witch hunt investigation into Jeff Sessions at the instigation of two Democratic senators. Much of this leadership has been, rightly, reassigned or replaced.

But what about the CIA? What were they up to during this time? Why was Brennan so afraid of the election of Donald Trump that he was willing to spread fantastic stories to prevent it, and why does he fear the president so much now that he is making up even more nonsense in order to discredit him. Is he worried the Trump administration will uncover his illegal behavior while he led the CIA? Was Brennan's agency spying on Americans? Doing dirty deals with the Iranians? Betraying the Israelis to their enemies?

Perhaps. Perhaps"

The Real Collusion Story

"In a textbook example of denial and projection, Trump foes in and out of government wove a sinister yarn meant to take him down."

"Well-intentioned but careless, said the commander in chief, describing Hillary’s use of a private email server. Three months later, Comey, in a Vulcan mind-meld with his boss, arrived at an identical conclusion."

"If Comey had followed the letter of the law, the trail of guilt may have led all the way to Obama himself."

"McCabe and the two lovers demonstrated the very essence of the right stuff: a breezy comfort with bending the law to the demands of politics."

"Simpson staked the credibility of the dossier on just one thing: Steele’s super awesomeness."

"Democratic lawmakers became the ventriloquist’s dummies, moving their lips mechanically as CIA director Brennan spoke."

"The Clinton campaign called on the FBI to investigate."

"We have a word to describe the use of fabricated evidence to make an innocent man appear guilty: The Obama administration framed Carter Page. But not only Carter Page. The Obama administration framed Donald Trump."

"Brennan’s somber and self-righteous appeal to hidden secrets is the oldest con in the book."

"Choose your poison, Hillary enablers: You duped people and thereby abetted a gross abuse of power; or you were yourself badly duped."

Resignations, Demotions & Some Details – Complicity at the FBI & DOJ

February 18, 2018 by Jeff Carlson, CFA

"There have been numerous resignations and demotions at the FBI and DOJ.

Department of Justice (Non-FBI):

  • John Carlin – Assistant Attorney General – Head of DOJ’s National Security Division – announced resignation on September 27, 2016 after admitting on September 26, 2016 that Obama DOJ/FBI/NSD spied on U.S. Citizens (9-26-16 filing later made public in unsealed FISA Court Ruling) – Left on October 15, 2016. Trump surveillance originated under Carlin.

  • Bill Priestap – Assistant Director – Head of FBI Counterintelligence – Holds same position. Strzok’s boss – reported directly to McCabe.
My listing is not meant to be exhaustive. I’m sure I’ve missed some meaningful former participants. Feel free to post me on any you think noteworthy.

I have not included former Obama officials who are complicit but left their positions on President Trump’s Inauguration (i.e. Loretta Lynch). Nor have I included participants outside the DOJ/FBI.

Watch List:

"...Some may choose to include FBI Director Wray and/or Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein on the Watch List. I have not.

Notice anything odd in the listing of names (excluding Watch List)?

Look at the listing again – and take note of who is still there.

  • James Baker – FBI
  • Peter Strzok – FBI
  • Lisa Page – FBI/DOJ
  • Bruce Ohr – DOJ
  • Bill Priestap – FBI
Why are these individuals still employed – why haven’t they resigned.

With the exception of Priestap who still holds his original position, they’ve all been demoted into oblivion. Their careers are over – and have been.

There is one likely answer.

I’ve already discussed Priestap extensively:

Where is Bill Priestap – FBI’s Counterintelligence Head. – December 28, 2017

FBI Counterintelligence Head Bill Priestap – A Cooperating Witness – February 11, 2018

In both articles I make the case that Priestap is cooperating with the many investigations...."

Baker, Strzok, Page and Ohr are likely cooperating as well. They were caught dead to rights – firmly ensnared in the Inspector General’s Investigation.

They are likely being kept in effective isolation – shielded from the media – and compromised, leaking Congressmen like Adam Schiff...."

"C. Conclusion

As detailed in this report, the OIG found that then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe lacked candor, including under oath, on multiple occasions in connection with describing his role in connection with a disclosure to the WSJ, and that this conduct violated FBI Offense Codes 2.5 and 2.6. The OIG also concluded that McCabe’s disclosure of the existence of an ongoing investigation in the manner described in this report violated the FBI’s and the Department’s media policy and constituted misconduct. The OIG is issuing this report to the FBI for such action that it deems to be appropriate."

So I wonder what happens now. Does McCabe turn on Comey?

They're already at odds. As Rush referred to it today, "Comey's foolish book", I expect it to be shown to be exactly that, very foolish indeed.

Maybe he's trying to collect some coin before, in the event, he goes to jail.

Coincidence that the OIG report on McCabe is released right AFTER Comey's book is released?

...lol...

[add]

Not only Comey but Loretta Lynch contradicted in this too.

Yeah, that was very curious. Perhaps Comey believes his book will get the public on this side so as to politicize any conviction that might come his way. But now he's at odds with McCabe.

Soon - we can expect the start of endless TV drama series on ROKU about the Trump administration years.

Actually the scripts will have to be sanitized as the true account (The Truth!? You can't handle the truth!) wont be believable.
