I believe he will. I would like to vote for him. I am waiting to see where he is on some social issues.

I would imagine that as a Christian that you would probably not agree with Trump. I could be wrong but I guess that he has no issues with homosexual marriage, abortion, etc.

If forced to choose between Trump and Obama, I have little difficulty.
I'm not sure if he would be my choice in a primary setting.
I do appreciate his passion for wanting the US to be respected in the world (not liked, but respected...I also appreciate his making the distinction). Now, I'd like to hear that concept fleshed out...but it will be nice having a leader that doesn't bow to other ones (I mean that literally and in a broader philosophical sense).
He has one enormous advantage over Obama: He actually has had to meet a payroll.
I know little of his social stances, but it wouldn't surprise me if we disagreed a fair bit. My guess is, he has pretty significant libertarian leanings. Well, I do too...but there are some issues that I seriously break ranks with them on (Abortion's a good example).
Other questions:
-Temperament--is he too hotheaded?
-Delegation, and leader style--will he delegate as needed? Does he steamroll people? Working with Congress and others isn't like ordering around subordinates at his tower.
-Gravitas--I know Reagan was lampooned because he was an actor...but he paid significant dues along the way, and was ready for the job when he arrived. Furthermore, people quickly figured out that he knew what he was doing and should be taken seriously. Can Trump be taken seriously, or will the "reality show star" moniker hurt him? And...is he truly ready?
-Background--how many marriages for the Trump? And honestly, I haven't delved into the hows and whys of the breakup(s?). But that matters to me...from the character side of things.
-Faith--Of course someone can be President here without being a Christian. And it's possible that someone has good leader and communication skills, yet is lost. But...give me a strong leader that's asking his Lord for wisdom each morning over a strong leader who's relying on his own any day of the week.
Could be an interesting election. With Mr. Trump, I've got homework to do. -

You know, if trump makes it to the general election, that could be a hair-raising issue.

It would take some research, as you all say, but my guess is that as far as leadership and the ability to run an economy, he has skills way beyond anything we have seen lately. For me, the temperment would be a huge factor, aside from the values issues.

Dont let the Donald fool you....he knows more financiers than probably most people throughout the world. He started out in NY with his father in construction & parlayed that into advertising himself quite successfully. however most of his interests in building & marketing upscale commercial has suffered & I think his money is fast running out. He may be bankrupt by the end of the year but Im just speculating or he might have a big project brewing. Certantly the casino & gaming industry isnt feeding him & he might have to go back to giving seniors bus passeses, a box lunch & 20 dollars in quarters for the slots to get it kick started again. Anyway he probably has something up his hair, aaaa sleeve.

This is from wikipedia
In 2011, Trump has made a much more active bid for the presidency, including a February speech to a CPAC gathering.[44], that is considered a key early Presidential cattle call, and participation in its straw poll for the office. His political stances include the following[45]
* Pro-life[44]
* Anti-gun control[44]
* Advocates for the repeal and replacement of Obamacare[44]
* Anti-foreign aid[44]
* Believes Communist China should be treated as an enemy and subjected to large import tariffs.[46]
* Trump contributed to Rahm Emanuel's candidacy[47] and has refused to take a stance on the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.[48] -
