My understanding is the United States is not mentioned in Bible prophecy concerning the end-times. That being so, the changes necessary for that to be valid might result from current events.

“Now, China ultimately is responsible for this virus, literally, which they hid and lied about, and they’re lying about even now. But the threat extends far beyond the current pandemic. It is entirely possible, sadly, that the Chinese coronavirus makes China stronger in the end, even as it weakens us in America. China already has a larger manufacturing base than we do and has a far larger population. Soon it will have the biggest economy on earth. How long before their’s is the world’s reserve currency? That would be the end of American economic dominance, almost instantly. It’s entirely possible that we could wake up a few years from now and find China in charge.”

Rev 17
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
....
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
...
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
Commentary
17:1–19:10 Babylon the prostitute appears, representing the seductions of the world (17:4; 18:3; see Introduction: Characteristics and Themes: Other Features). “Babylon” is probably a symbol for the city of Rome (17:9 note, 17:18) with its immorality. -

Does China have a role in the end times? | GotQuestions.org
Question: "Does China have a role in the end times?"
Answer: Many students of Bible prophecy consider Revelation 16:12–16 to possibly refer to China in the end times:
“The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. Then . . . demonic spirits that perform signs . . . go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty. . . . Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon” (Revelation 16:12–16).
This passage predicts a massive, climactic conflict known as the Battle of Armageddon. It occurs at the end of the tribulation, after the sixth bowl judgment. At that time, the Euphrates River will be dried up, allowing the “kings from the East” to invade the Near East and march toward Israel. It is the “kings from the East” identification that many associate with China. The Chinese army, or a Chinese-led coalition, will take advantage of the removal of a natural barrier and sweep westward to meet up with the forces of the Antichrist.
When the end-times’ force from China joins with the armies of the Antichrist, the seventh and final bowl judgment will be poured out. The Lord Jesus will return, the most violent earthquake ever will shake the world, and the forces of the Antichrist and the armies of the East will be destroyed (Revelation 16:17–20; 19:11–21).
It is impossible to know for sure if the Eastern confederacy of the end times will include China; however, it seems likely that China will be involved. Recent years have seen a dramatic rise in China’s power and influence. The development of enormous military strength; intimidation of Hong Kong, Tibet, Taiwan, and other regions; pursuit of global economic dominance; aggressive rhetoric on the world stage; and, of course, the persecution of Chinese Christians—all this has been characteristic of China. It is not hard to imagine that the “kings from the East” who one day march into Israel will include China.
Some people identify another battle, mentioned earlier in Revelation, as a prophecy of China in the end times. The association hinges on the mention of an army of 200 million (Revelation 9:16) and occasional reports of China’s capability of equipping such a vast army. There are a couple problems with this view. One is that Revelation 9 says nothing of an army from the East; rather, it speaks of a demonic horde that destroys a third of mankind. The “horses” these beings ride are definitely not normal horses (verse 17). Also, the battle of Revelation 9 occurs after the sixth trumpet judgment; the battle of Revelation 16 involving the kings of the East occurs after the sixth bowl judgment, probably about three and a half years later.
In the end times, many nations, likely including China, will try their hand at conquest. Ultimately, their fight will be against God. The tribulation will be a tumultuous time of warfare, disasters, and divine judgment. But God has it all under control, as Psalm 2:2–6 assures:
“The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
‘Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.’
The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
‘I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.’” -

I think that China manufactured this virus and released it as a weapon. I hope that we stop buying anything and everything that is made in China. We can do it if we reduce the size of our government and put our bureaucrats to work in our factories and warehouses. We need to strictly control our borders and put an end to this globalism. The wealthy elites who want globalism will move to Canada or Europe or Dubai. Communism is not a system but a disease of the mind, Uncle Bernie--you mean old man with 3 dachas.

Bringing manufacturing of pharmaceuticals back within our borders will be problematic if China decides to cut us off during the transition - not to mention the thousands of other products they provide us with, including steel and finished lumber.
Of course, on top of this, is the basic mindset of the age group that would "man" these plants as they come on line. Wow...major concerns all around! -

It is entirely possible they were studying the virus and it got loose by accident. Seeing the effect it had on them, seems odd they would want to do it that way versus letting it loose directly into any large American or European city dont you think?
Then seeing the worldwide ease of spread, it seems like a mutually assured kind of destruction, they dont seem to run the country that way to me. -

Obviously Communists of the 20th century did not care much about their people. Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot for example. All they cared about was themselves, their vision for the society. Communists do not care to tolerate opposition do they.
Even though we think of mainland China as a communist country, they are nowhere like N Korea are they, so there are many positive differences between China today and N Korea. -

I was listening to a lecture by Princeton Professor Stephen Kotkin, the world's leading expert on Stalin. He was speaking in Vienna recently on geopolitics and the difference between nazis and communism. He came from a working-class family but went to Berkeley in California and became a Russian expert. He says that he is not partisan and not a member of any political party. However, the information on Russia is much better than the information on China. I am not sure that anyone knows how many Mao murdered. The Professor was telling the Austrians that communism was extinct but the nazis were still around. I think that he has a good case for Russia now just being sort of a military dictatorship with a lot of capitalist practices but poor. He did not mention the communism of Cuba so I don't think communism is extinct but it is stupid because eventually the top has trouble getting the luxury goods they want.
So I don't know what China is but I do not think that they are benign or friendly. They have stolen so much technology from us. Here in the Midwest we are still the rustbelt and we want our jobs and factories back. That is the best answer that I can give you since I don't know much about China.
