Depends on what the end game is.
In your example, it's to end a war and save lives.
To liberals, If the end game is killing babies in the womb, anything goes. And I mean anything.
Does the end in that case justify the means used to get their way?
The ends do not always justify the means.
I'm just saying it's a fallacy that the ends never justify the means.
Sometimes they do.
And sometimes the ends condemn avoiding the means.
There are a lot of things that are common today that were never mentioned in the Bible.
I don't think insurance existed in Biblical times.
Neither did automobiles, airplanes, fast food, nuclear weapons or even guns, democracies, the printing press, and on and on.
I'm talking about the use of a modern-day method to meet the Biblical objective of helping the poor.
I think you're classifying everyone who is not a Republican as a liberal, right?
That's not true and everyone who does not share all of you views does not believe in large-scale abortion.
I don't believe in abortion but neither do I believe in killing the needy by not providing them with health care.
Wrong.
There are also liberal republicans and some conservative democrats.
There are also liberals and conservatives who are members of no party.
Bottom line is, that if you vote for and support candidates who call for abortion on command paid for by tax dollars, you might as well put your name on the believe in killing babies list. You label yourself as a liberal.
But since you equate killing babies in the womb with not providing free healthcare to healthy able bodied people, maybe you could provide some statistics about the number of people who specifically died because they did not have your version of "health care" that compares to the millions of lives taken by abortion.
The two are not mutually exclusive.
If you don't protect your homeland, you can be attacked and create more poor destitute people then you've ever had before.
And it would be the fault of those opposing military spending.
So yes, because I love people and care about their condition, financial and otherwise, I want the government to spend money on the military.
It's the compassionate thing to do.
This is about the 10th time I've been misrepresented here as supporting wide-scale abortion.
The Trump approach is to keep telling a lie so many times people begin to accept it as the truth.
Congratulations (?) you've learned that.
It's been 45 years and counting for the Republicans to change the Republican Supreme Court Roe vs. Wade decision.
Nothing much done in 45 years.
When will they correct their mistake?
I'm waiting.
No one has represented you as anything.
You do understand what the word "IF" means don't you.
" ...if you vote for and support candidates who call for abortion on command paid for by tax dollars, you might as well put your name on the believe in killing babies list. You label yourself as a liberal."
So, the real question is what have you labeled yourself?
According to your own posts, you are pro-abortion.
You support pro-abotion candidates, and you fight anti-abortion candidates.
To conclude anything else from your posts would be illogical.
As long as people like you fight the pro-life agenda, it'll take some time.
I'm not going to fault Republicans for trying.
I am going to fault you for turning your back on the unborn and fighting progress at every turn.
People need to meet their own needs. No society can survive when the majority of its members must constantly obtain help to survive themselves. Rather than using the government to enslave people through the collection of taxes for the purposes of giving to those who did not work for it why not search and find a non government way of helping people to be self sufficient rather than enabling the lack of it.
