    why do you call that deviant? How do you know they are not gathering as believers?you are a very judgemental person w/o even knowing the facts.Why arent you addressing this with REYNOLDS instead of me so as to ask him the questions that need to be asked instead of badgering me/NO NOT YOU!

    What does having a Pastor involved have to do with it? I'm not opposed to the idea,
    but come on: since when do we qualify every gathering of believers to include a Pastor?

    Well.....I would venture to guess that that is Rippons problem, ah with it. But maybe he doesn't think that these "Cowboy Churches" are legitimate. From what I can see from Googling them they are in fact kosher, with congregations, pastors etc. Perhaps he thinks they need to be seminary graduates. That would be a complete repudiation of baptist principles. We will see.

    Thanks.....FYI, I have asked multiple times, inviting pastors & churches to come to Northwest NJ to help plant something here. Frankly I fear for my community, they are becoming sooo secular. Guess what, no takers. apparently not w/i their comfort zones & its too damn hard.

    NOTE: FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH located in Newton NJ is searching for a Pastor. Any takers?
