Liberalism is doubting the truth of scripture.
There are quite a few of them out there.
Rightly dividing the word of truth, as I just did, is not liberalism although fundamentalists cannot tell the difference.
Fundamentalism is accepting the truth of scripture, but only on the terms laid down by other fundamentalists who are so bound up in their own traditions that they can’t see beyond their blinders.
When challenged, they lack the resources to do anything but hurl invectives at their challenger.
“Straight from the pits of hell” is one of their favorites.
No, this is what happens when the scriptures are not seen as jesus and his Apostles did!
the Holy spirit inspired those writings to us, so how can they be an less of a divine revelation then jesus, as God himself authored them thru those men?
It is indefensible because God has given the scriptures to protect and guide us.
Not some subjective feelings and emotions
and being blown around by every wind of doctrine.

those in non confessional churches believe typically in supposed additional revelation and are at risk.
