The handwriting has been on the walls for quite a while now [most of the writing was by way of "taggers"], America is sliding down the slippery slope that took Rome, England, France, Russia and Germany. This same slippery slope will one gobble up China too. What goes around, does eventually come around.

The only way to salvage the American dream is to join the North American Union :1_grouphug: . Three countries [Canada, America and Mexico] will be as mighty a union as any on earth.

Do not be caught off guard my brothers and sisters, The America's is nearing its gestation period, and this continent should feel the birth pangs and celebrate the birth of the Americas between 2010 and 2012.

The only way to prop up and restore our economy to greatness is by annexing our neighbors to the north and south of us.

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

Bro. Poncho -- will that be forehead or right hand?

Reminds me of Penn Square Bank in OKC (Oklahoma City) about 1978. It bought some bad debts from local Credit Unions around Oklahoma. After Penn Square Bank in OKC a big Chicago bank bought the bad debt from them. It went belly up -- the whole thing started a recession and the rules governing Credit Unions had to be revamped. (How else could the Credit Unions then make money buying money at 3% and selling it at 6%? Prior to the revamp Credit Unions were going belly up buying money at 15% and selling it at 24%.)

How will the USofA restore it's economy with Mexican poverty and Canadian bad debt?

    Statehood for Cuba!!!

Some things are better off left to the experts Ed. At least that's what the experts keep telling us.

What do you mean by "annex." Do you mean conquer by force? If so I absolutely renounce your proposal.

Uh...don't you think the Canadians and Mexicans would have something to say about that. Shoot, the Canadians are having enough of a time keeping Quebec within their fold. Ain't gonna happen.

Now, would you like some fries to go with your delusion?

Bingo. I'm not sure what Mexico would do, but I'm 100% positive that there's not a snowman's chance in hell of Canada agreeing to any such thing. Particularly when it's phrased so delicately as an "annexation".

Seems to me you're "misunderestimating" the enemy.

No guts no glory. C'mon together we can mold a new reality. A grand global reality headed by mega corporations instead of the old outdated self interested nation states We can do it all by stealth...you won't even have to shoulder a rifle!

Have you seen how the Soviets killed the Aral Sea? Surely they could have done better then than Kazakhstan & Uzbekistan are doing now?

Ya shoulda seen the uproar over the mere MENTION of the STATE of Georgia "annexing" a very small part of southern Tennesse (to gain water)....I can't imagine what kind of firestorm would ensue at the suggestion of the USA annexing all of Canada!!

Washington DC already took away the Expos! Colorado got the Nordiques. We'll take 'em one team at a time, eh?

I know Britain (not just England, by the way) once had an Empire, but does the U.S. have one? I had not heard of it. Perhaps you use the word "empire" with a different shade of meaning, possibly referring to the international influence of the U.S., not to mean that certain other nations have the American President as their head of state.
