The guy has some good points but he is not 100% on the facts.

On point 2, even though you can't get denied coverage into a group policy because of a pre-existing condition, they still may not pay any claims in regards to that condition.
Point 1 is also oversimplified, we have UHC which is a 20/80 split. We received bill for about a year after my daughter had rods put in her back. There was also parts of the procedure the insurance didn't cover. These were things we didn't clearly understand until we tried disputing the rejected claims.
The problem wasn't fine print, we read it but didn't know that's what it said.
