If the only church within 300 miles of your home was a Lutheran church, what would you do?

I'd go to the Lutheran church, if I couldn't start a Baptist church.
-
I'd ask God to send a baptist minister to open a Baptist church and I'd also ask God to close down the Lutheran Church
-
I agree with Stefan.
Is this a hypothetical, or is someone really in this situation? -
I would stay at home until I could find an evangelical church within reasonable driving distance.
-
They're really conservative. -
I'd give it a try. "Forsake not the assembling of yourselves, as is the habit of some..."
-
Honestly don't know enough about the Lutherans to say what I would do. Are they Reformed in their doctrine?

I agree with Joseph, in that I don't know enough about Lutherans to have a say.
I guess without that knowledge, I would definitely look into planting a church. Of course, if you're talking about places like the desert, where there are 4 people per 100 sq miles, maybe it's not the right thing to do.
I guess the answer boils down to 1. What do the Lutherans believe, and 2. Where is this place exactly?

First of all I feel hypothetical questions which start of with ''WHAT IF, OR If" are generally loaded questions....unless this was an actual case, I would not comment. The words "what if" has caused much confussion.
The fact is I served 22 years in the United States Air Force, And have found myself in places where there were in fact no fellowships of like faith and practice as I, and attened different churches in worship.....Did I join in membership, no. Did I feel I worshipped my Lord, yes, because my worship comes from with-in my heart. -
What do Lutherans believe?

My best advise I can give you is do a web search of their sites on their beliefs. That way you will get it directly from them.....not others oppinions -
The following two doctrines would keep me from fellowshipping with them:
I find it interesting what the article here attributes to the Lutheran Church moving away from the foundational doctrines of the Lutheran faith as of late:
Joseph Botwinick -
hm...I do too

Plant a new church.

My opinion
I would attend but not join. I would also not take communion (they would not let you anyway).
I would also pray for a more biblical church.
Miss-synod is conserviative. But they have hung on to Catholic beliefs of baptizmal regeneration, baby baptisem and believe the bread and wine are mixed with the elements of Jesus flesh.
On the other hand they worship the Trinatarian God. They claim to be saved by faith alone not by works (they will tell you baptisem and communion are not works but gifts from God so he can impart His grace). -

If I had my family in this hypothetical situation I would just hold church services in my home and I as the spiritual leader would lead the services. Eventually I would hope this led to the beginning of a new work if there were other people around.
