Hi everyone!

Finallt got my computer back. It is nice to be working again. Once a year my isp cleans the computer out, checks for viruses and all that rot.

Sorry I missed a few devotionals. I'll check to see where I am at and get back at it...forget about back pay,,I shall donate my services,,lol

Cheers to all, and trust you are all well.

Hello everyone, and many thanks for your kind words. I miss you all when I cannot use the internet.

Notice some changes. Glad the chapel remains.

Cheers, and God bless,

Top of the morning to you Jim!

Though it's time I turned this machine off and went to bed!

Jan took 5 teens to Davis College (formerly Practical Bible College) for college days - and they all had a great time!

Hello everyone.

Today is a bright and sunny Lord's Day here in Gloucestershire.

Our cat Tammy, who adopted our neighbours next door was taken ill yesterday and now has to go to the animal hospital. I will go with our neighbour. Tammy is quite poorly, not even able to hold her head up at times. :( We will see what the vet has to say.

I will look in later,

God Bless

Good Morning all. Sheila, I'm so sorry to hear of Tammy's illness! I hope she'll be okay. Jim kept kicking during the night and I expected it to be Dubbs jumping on the bed demanding some love.

Thank you Roger.

Hi Diane and Roger

Tammy was admitted to the animal hospital and is now on a drip. We are awaiting the results of blood tests. The vet found that she has a heart murmour and thinks she is low on phosphates ? which could be an indication of several things including diabetes and kidney problems. She also has an enlarged thyroid. One of the test results will not be available until tomorrow. Steph and I left the animal hospital in tears. We are just waiting to hear the test results. I will look in later,

God Bless

Not being a "pet person" I can't totally understand your feelings of course.

But I do hope they can rectify the situation for you. I don't understand it all, but I do know that the pain is very real for pet lovers.

Sheila and Rob, I'm so glad you were able to get Tammy help and hope that the results that come back show something that can be treated and controlled.

Love,
Diane

Diane and Roger,

Thank you. We still haven't heard anything. Until we get the results we don't know what the treatment will be. Tammy is 12 1/2 years old. I asked the vet outright if Tammy is suffering and she said yes, she is.

God Bless

We have just heard about Tammy. The thyroid results won't be back until Tuesday. She has low potassium levels hence the drip. Her liver enzyme is raised which could be due to an over active thyroid. They managed to get a urine sample and that showed her glucose levels to be up. The heart and breathing problems could be related to the potassium levels being so low and at the moment she is being given meds for the thyroid, as they won't do her any harm anyway, apparently. At the moment she is said to be comfortable and very quiet.

Thank you for your understanding and concerns,

God Bless

Sheila, I'm very sorry to hear... That sounds so much like Dubbs was the last few days. He was at least 12. We got him 11 years ago and he wasn't a kitten at the time... had already been spayed...

I know Dubbs was suffering toward the end.

He slept all but a few minutes at a time the last two days.

Praying for Tammy, and I don't care if people think that's right or not.

Diane,

That is so kind of you to pray for Tammy with all you are going thru' with losing Dubbs. We just got in from evening service and Steph left a message on the telephone to say that she called the hospital and there is a slight improvement in Tammy and that she managed a little bit of supper. They say that it is too soon to expect any significant improvement at the moment.

We are praying for you too.

Love and blessings

the tearoom has reached page 20 and I have no desire to continue it.

Cheers to all, and God richly bless those few who have occasioned here.
