Yes, I got my answer out of the Bible. If the earth was destroyed, then Noah couldn't have floated around in the ark. Therefore the earth wasn't destroyed, only the inhabitants. Therefore "earth" refers to living beings and not "kosmos".
I believe the New Heaven and New Earth refer to the New Covenant, therefore, yes we live in the New Heaven and New Earth. See Dr. Bob's thread about the earth being destroyed to see scholars in the past who shared this view. C.H. Spurgeon being the most recognizable.

Grasshopper,
Flood did literally destroyed earth in physically. All buildings, houses, animals, and people were destroyed - literal.
What about Sodom? Sodom was destroyed by fire literally.
Right now, Sodom is no longer exist, Sodom is gone for good forever.
Earth was destroyed by flood - WATER.
Earth shall be destroyed by -FIRE.
Earth was not exploded from flood
Earth shall not be explode from fire.
Earth was transform or changed into different enivornment result from the flood.
Eaarth shall be transform or change into different enivornment result by the fire.
Both are literal and physical.
Why you seem deny the true teaching from the Bible. I rather follow the Bible, what it saying instead what men saying - Col. 2:8.
In Christ

The Rapture is God's plan to gather together the Church age born-again Christian elect saints.
The Tribulation period is God's plan to
gather together the Jewish Israeli elect saints.
Paul says over and over: we are all one in Christ.
Saints are Saints. We are all Abraham's seed -- if we are Christ's born again people. (Gal. 3:29).
Us "born againers" are Israel. We are Abraham's seed -- the Israel of God (Gal. 6:16).
Jew and Gentile is wiped out in Christ Jesus (1 Cor. 7:18-19). There is neither Jew nor Greek....
Saints is Saints.
"Unto the CHURCH OF GOD which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called [to be] saints...." (1Cor. 1:2).
The church is going through the Trib. Us saints will have to give our lives for Christ. He gave His life for us. Now its pay back time. We are not better than Jesus, our martyr. We will be martyred for Him.
"Precious in the sight of the LORD [Jesus] is the death of His saints" (Psalms 116:15). -
saved gentiles and unsaved Jews are
all one in Christ right now?
Right now nearly all
the saved are gentiles. In the Tribulation
Period all the living saved are Jews.
After the Chruch Age, after the Tribulation
Period Judgemenet and for all eternity
the saved Jews and the saved Gentiles are one.
Right now in the church age the saved
are Gentiles. In the Tribulation Period
Judgement the saved are Jews.

Ed, I think you missed this line:
"Saints are Saints. We are all Abraham's seed -- if we are Christ's born again people. (Gal. 3:29)." (emphasis mine)
That should clear up your question as it's clear that wopik is referrign to the saved in his post.
