Humanistic philosophy and psychobabble has invaded the church! I have been reading a certain career author whom mixes in Bible along with secular humanism as he teaches people to find the work that they love and be fulfilled. Nothing wrong with that, but he teaches people to quit working in a job they are not fulfilled/not happy and get fulfillment elsewhere. Listening to a Charles Stanley sermon today, and reading a book by Erwin Lutzer I can tell you that this career author is teaching a self help gospel!

So how does he (Stanley or Lutzer) mix humanism and the bible?

I did not word that post correctly. Stanley and Lutzer DO NOT mix self-fulfillment with the gospel. The career author is who does as he always talks about fulfilling yourself, while Stanley and Lutzer talk about being a witness at the workplace and such. They say its not all about self-fulfillment. Sure it would be great to find work that you love, but that goes after being a witness for Christ.
