Who created the Earth?
John 1
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2The same was in the beginning with God.
3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

It's not an "either/or" question.
The complete Godhead created the universe around us.
Father - 1 Cor 8:6
Son - John 1:3; Heb 1:10
Spirit - Genesis 1:2; Job 26:13; 33:4; Psalm 104:30; and Isaiah 40:12–13

The Father, through the Son.

I asked this because one time I heard a preacher preach that Jesus the Son was the sole creator.
Me? I don't think the point of this passage is about who created the Earth at all. I think the point is that Jesus was always there from the beginning, and was not created when He was born as we are. I think people questioned His Divinity because of his natural birth and that this passage is explaining that He has always existed.
