Church will be starting this one soon. Has anyone done it? What do you think?
Some info from their website (http://www.thetruthproject.org/whatistruthproject/)
These are false converts. True believers do not "live like unbelievers" consistently. There may be moments of this when they walk in the flesh, but they do not live like them consistently.
Personally it looks like a evidentialist/Arminian method of apologetics which makes a case to lost sinners trying to persuade their intellects. Biblically speaking sinners are totally depraved and lost, dead in their sins and cannot be persuaded except if they are given the gift of faith by the Holy Spirit. The case must go to their consciences (the knowledge of right and wrong) and this is best done by using the law (Psalms 19, Gal 3:24). Regardless there may be some things I can learn with the "Truth Project" despite the Arminianism teachings. I have learned some things from Lee Strobel, Josh McDowel, Norm Geisler, and others.
