Or is it? Everyone see the new California law signed by Jerry Brown allowing transgendered people to use school bathrooms they feel expresses their true selves? I hear it isn't the first state to do so. I'm glad I live in the Midwest. If this ever arrives here I hope we will close the schools down.
Is this really America we live in now? Can you even imagine the weirdo boy who wears girls closes and makeup heading to the girls shower to bath with your daughter? COME ON?

I hear it was a clear all Democrat for and GOP against.
I am really sick about this and I don't live in the land of fruits and nutts.

Let me tell you a story.
When my best friend (at the time) and I were 19 years old - we thought we were the cat's meow. We were the cockiest, boldest (in our own minds), and most grown-up people we knew. We weren't scared of anything.
One day, we were at the mall and we went to the bathroom. She was in the stall closest to the door and I was a couple of stalls away. We were the only ones in there - or so we thought
A man had followed us in there.
He looked under the first stall and saw her feet. Then he peeped over the stall at her and between the crack of the stall and the door. I didn't know this because he was very quiet. My friend began crying this odd little cry that I will never forget and saying, "Kim .... get out .... get out ... just get out."
I had no clue what she was talking about until I heard some feet shuffle towards my stall and I could see his feet.
You see, we weren't so cocky anymore. I'll never forget how I could not move. I was literally frozen in fear.
He ran away suddenly and we were a crying mess of little girls who were changed that day.
What bothers me about this whole thing is that I realize the majority of these young boys who will go to a girls' restroom aren't peeping toms, but in their minds "feel" like a girl. But that doesn't matter. Their feelings are irrelevant. What relevant is how a young girl who has always understood the bathroom to be a private place and a safe place - will now NEVER find security in that private area.
And for many girls - it will scare them - to the point that it will change them.
Now today, if a man did that to me and a younger female in my care, I would hurt him. I don't say that with a cocky attitude. And he may hurt me - I'm sure. But we would go down together and he would get as good or worse as he gave - if I had to be arrested for it.
But when I was young girl - it was different story. A story that I have never forgotten. -
My wife concealed carries. I don't think it would fair to well for such a pervert. Not that she would want to shoot someone ever, but in such a case it would be justified.
So called transgender boys will be dressed like girls. And, even though it isn't right my take is that they won't be interested in girls sexually but in being a girl. He will be sitting on the toilet even though he doesn't have too. -

The sad part is they apparently do not have parents to guide them. Until they get some guidance they need to be treated as dangerous and perverts.
However, when men do this then they need to be take to the wood shed. -
I heard it was a straight ticket vote, all Dem's for and GOPers against. What can the Dem's say to justify this. Does it go back to feeling sorry for the poor boy who was born with the wrong set of genitals? This is really sick.

This is not just public restrooms in schools. It also extends to the locker-rooms. Now think about it, when I was a young man, I don’t think I could have showered in a girls’ locker room (even though the fantasy would have been wonderful). And I don’t know enough about the transgendered state to know whether a transgendered (biological male - thinks he’s female) would be able to control the reflex “blood flow changes” that bless all men.
I wouldn’t for a moment want my daughter to be in a locker room with a guy, no matter how effeminate he is.
And I don’t think I’d want my son in a locker room with a butch female who thinks she’s a guy.
However, there’s a bright side. Now that this legislation has become a reality, I can’t wait to see the next “Porky’s” movie. -

"Where they are from what they have not seen is not worth seeing."
So I used the lavatory. Other men walked in, looked around, shrug their shoulders and did the same as I.
They had no idea what that little sign outside the door meant. However, I was not brave or stupid enough to go to the Women's Room to see if there were Hmong men there.

CTB, I understand your story ... BUT FOR PETE'S SAKE, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT CALIFORNIA, A STATE IN THE U.S. WORSE, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT PUBLIC EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS WITHIN THE U.S.
While a nice story that points out cultural differences, it has absolutely NO application to the situation being discussed in this thread.

Y'all are getting too hung up on the transgender boys. Having been a boy once upon a time, and not being saved until much later in life, let me tell you what the real problem is: "A chance to go in the girls' room and peek at the girls? Yeah, I'm gender-confused...." -
If any of you have children or grandchildren in lower grades, especially pre-school or kindergarten, you may not have thought to check on this already.
This was happening in preschools and kindergartens 14 years ago. You wouldn't know if you didn't ask or your child didn't tell you. It's more likely if the classroom has restrooms built into the classroom. Some rooms do while the one next door doesn't. You don't know if you don't ask. Sometimes volunteering for a day is a major eye opener into what goes on.
People end up very shocked at what is a normal progression of what has been happening for a number of years. This is one of those things. It didn't just happen out of the clear blue sky. It's been going on in other grades and the battle to let it happen has been going on for years. -

There was a transgender who worked in the same department as my wife. This did cause a problem. Their solution was when he/she had to go the bathroom was emptied of people. I don't remember which he/she used. I understand that this is impossible in a school toilet that kids use ... too many kids to empty one. Or, maybe they could had the kid use the teachers lounge toilet.
Regardless, it is a problem. -
Anyone who can excuse "transgenders" or other aberrant behavior needs to take a good hard look at the Bible, which is after all God's word. Whether you want to accept it or not, it is aberrant, not by the DSM 5 but that work of man really doesn't matter. God says it's aberrant. You don't like that? Talk to God. Stop trying to change it through men, who really, ultimately, have no say.

So when do we start referring to our pets as he/she?
