The Bill of Rights (Except the fifth Amendment of course).

Obamo doesn't have a clue about Christianity, so why would anyone care what he says.

Actually, the ONE Thing that makes me cry is professing Christians who put nationalism ahead of Jesus. This is doing irreparable harm to His Church and the spread of the gospel. Jesus said no man can serve two masters. Rejecting anyone because of their political views is not what Jesus preached. He told us to love our neighbors and even our enemies. He was criticized by the Pharisees for spending too much time with sinners. What's being presented in this thread is HATE not LOVE. There is no room for hate in a true Christian.

Politics and moral issues should be discussed but in a spirit of respect for the other person.

So Jesus made a weapon and used force against the enemies of His father.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven...
Ecclesiastes 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

He hated hypocrites and actually so do I. He also hated sin (but loved the sinner) as well as desecration of His Church.
Mat 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Isn't it hard to argue against a clear and direct statement of Jesus if you're a believer? -

Many years ago I had a confrontation with just such an individual.
He ended up running out-of-state before I could get to him to "teach" him some sense.
The law apprehended him later.

That's the reason why we have law enforcement officers. I certainly agree with turning these criminals over to the police.
By the way, you might want to rethink using Old Testament passages to argue against the words of Jesus. In one case He directly refuted the Old Testament.
[Mat 5:38-48 KJV] 38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have [thy] cloke also. 41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. 42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. 43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more [than others]? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
This directly refutes Exodus 21:24, Lev 24:20 and Deut. 19:21. -
Think of it this way, God's punishment is also part of His love nature.
And in my particular case, being a veteran I am still under an obligation (Though I don't count it as an obligation) to defend my country.
